You do wonder if somewhere in the unused footage from this show there are moments where members of the public tell him to take a running jump off of a short pier, because he really does taken bantering to a whole new level.
It doesn't get much press attention, but this is certainly one of ITV's better shows, and provides more entertainment than a weeks worth of Coronation Street episodes does and then some.
So if you haven't given it a go yet, why not? It's silly, it's fun, it's a very quick show indeed.
