It was a good episode, but it had clear let downs
cibelekzm9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Oh, the irony. The universe was literally showing all the women that Buck dated and didn't go well, showing him all the "wrong couches" in his life that he chose to sit on it in a similar way on how he was doing it with Natalia, and then the thing that made Natalia run away faster than a rocket was the sperm donation, the one thing that Buck believed it was the right thing to do, the one thing he did right.

Natalia was "seeing the real buck" (as he like to call) and it was too much for her as she did run away. Unfortunately, we know Buck is conveniently too oblivious to hear universe signs when the writers want it and we know by how they built this (and their habits on writing Buck) to where this is leading.

Don't even get me started on Eddie who is misunderstanding the assignment once again. The few things I liked about his storyline this episode was him helping with Chris project, and the fact he was shopping with Bobby in a very father-son way. It was cute enough for me to ignore the context of the talk, that is once again about his romantic life, and he is once again making a mistake (in fact he will kinda be a hypocrite if he proceed with this one, as he said to Buck that "dating rescue victims never go well".

I don't like the ominous messages we've got with Bobby and Athena here, I mean I'm happy they were being all cute, but Bobby mentioning to Eddie that him and Athena are about to celebrate their 4th year together paralleling that grieving wife telling Athena she and her husband were about to complete their 4th year together before the man died... was a choice. I chose to ignore it briefly because this show likes of throwing random parallels, but then there was the "Hold me and never let go?" line at the ending montage... That is clearly a ominous foreshadow... It's a very successful way of terrify a shipper indeed.

Honestly, I'm happy Maddie proposed, I don't think this plot needed to be stretched out that way, but I'm proud Maddie is the one making the choice, giving that step and Chimney deserved to be chosen. Finally they're engaged.

It's probably the first episode in a while I don't complain about the emergencies or the balance of the scenes, I think it did well. What killed of it being perfect was them once again shoving last minute Love Interests no one actually want for Buck and Eddie. However I don't think this ruined the entire episode for me.

Juan Carlos Coto, you failed us.
theonewithansia39 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Madney storyline? Perfect. Loved the tormented Chim, the doubting Hen who redeemed herself this episode, Maddie questioning everything and then going full throttle to the point making herself the lovely propose. Loved, loved, loved.

The emergency with Athena and the girl who was losing her husband? The chills I had the whole time. Hope it is not some kind of foreshadowing because I cannot live without Peter Krause in my life, neither without Bobby Nash.

Natalia coming for Buck's choice of him being a donor? Call me eberything you want, but gurl, I. Said. That. She was gonna break my child heart. I mean, Buck was dumb himself for think that she "saw" him after what? Two minutes of talking? And now you got that: a person who doesn't truly see you, but only liked you for your death. She will be back asking for a second chance, hope Buck will be able to say no, he deserves better.

Eddie's storyline? So funny, I laughed so hard.

That man is gay and you won't convince me otherwise.

And whonthe heck is Marimoon, please. Not Ana 2.0, he said himself that datinf a person met during an emergency is not going to end well, so please. He also deserves better than a random stranger.

We will never be free from T. Kelly, I fear.

Juan Carlos Coto, you will now have an enemy in me.

Here we go again
tkall-391499 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Oh how surprising, they throw some rando lady who is in love with her brother at Eddie, and *POOF* it's supposed to be some magic moment? Please.

Just stop. Nobody is buying it. This storyline keeps getting recycled for both Buck and Eddie. We go around in circles with these underdeveloped female characters being thrown at them and it never works. The people that these two men have the most chemistry and a true connection with is each other. They would have a truly magic relationship, but these miserable show runners aren't brave enough to go there.

The Buck and Natalia stuff was just blah. I don't see that going anywhere, but I could very well be wrong.

Things I liked- Kameron! I actually loved her scenes, I love the actress and her and Buck seem to have a great friendship. Nothing romantic would ever happen there, not even these show runners would be dumb enough to go there. The Lucy scene was really funny!

And the thing that saved this episode? MADNEY! They were so stinkin cute, I almost cried! Jee is just the most adorable little lady, and I loved that she was incorporated into the proposal!

One more week in what will most likely be a long time, hope they make it count!

They decided to create our worst nightmare Warning: Spoilers
Maddie proposing was the only positive thing of this episode, at least they finally got a cute moment.

But then, can please someone tell me what the writers were thinking? Such a horrible episode. I was willing to give it a chance even after they posted the guest cast list, but boy was I wrong.

Bringing Lucy and Taylor back for this? It wasn't enough with an actress with the emotional range of an ameba, they had to include two of the worst characters of the show just to confirm that the writers are misogynistic and they only see women as a complement for their single men.

Eddie playing gold was funny, but that last scene? It was bad. I really don't understand why they can't leave them single, when they don't know what to do with their arcs, they keep bringing random woman after random woman hoping for any of them to stick.

Nobody likes them, and not because of ships or anything like that, but for the fact that except for a couple of them, the casting team has done a terrible job and hired actress that don't know how to act. And then the writers go and create the most boring characters with no personality that are there only to smile and that's it.

They have tried these storylines since season 4, it didn't work then, it won't work now. Let's hope ABC decides to fire the showrunner and half of the writing team, because they have really ruin this show. Tim should get the original screenwriters back, the show hasn't been what it used to be since he left and took them with him.

Buddie and Henren deserve better
118princess10 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Honestly, the episode wasn't bad, it was good but HenRen was missing but Kristen doesn't like them so everything is normal, I really wanted her to leave 9-1-1 there are times when we need to look inside ourselves and understand that it's over. This fixation of hers that only straight couples deserve to be happy is unbearable, on ABC it will be the same if she remains responsible for 9-1-1. There are 6 seasons, not even if they bring Shannon back from the dead it will work, Eddie and Buck with other people have no future, stop and think, pathetic to be going around in circles. The time you waste doing this, it would be better to develop their relationship, left the friendship to have a romance, it would be much better to see this challenge than these dull encounters with characters that appear 30 seconds. I think Chimney only accepted it because he was too embarrassed to speak, he did the same as the girl in the first case, he accepted it and then it's going to end, this couple is also boring, one of them has to leave. It was a good episode, I just really missed Karen and Hen and more Bathena moment, if they hadn't wasted time bringing Lucy, Taylor, Natalia and Kameron would have more screen time for these couples. Kristen, my sister in Christ, resign.

Eddie Diaz my love you're a CAKE yummy yummy I'm with the two guys checking him out.

Maddie and Chimney are one step closer to their happy ending!
LibertyMia9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Maddie and Chimney are one of the best relationships on television currently. They have both been through very trying and difficult times together, but always find their way back to where they belong - at each other's side. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kenneth Choi gave that proposal scene their all. Their chemistry as friends makes their onscreen relationship so real and beautiful. And the twins who play their amazing daughter Jee-Yun, always adds such spark to their scenes together. I cannot wait to see their relationship blossom as a married couple, and hopefully a big wedding in Season 7 on ABC!

It was amazing to see Ryan Guzman's comedic timing in this episode, and also how down to earth he becomes in these true to life conversations about finding love after being widowed.

Poor Buck isn't having any luck with love after being visited by exes and flings, but glad to see he can be a good friend to Kameron in her time of need.

Next week sounds stressful, but this show always packs an amazing emotional punch in a finale. So I can't wait.

wonderful episode!
mayatal9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This season has been strong all along and this episode is no different! As always 911 does a great job combining hilarious moments with emotional tear causing scenes in a way that doesn't feel out of place, that's the charm of this show! With the emotional call of the woman losing her husband to cancer, the old lady getting to her dream wedding and to the guy who jumped off the roof to propose only to be dragged all across the road, they never miss! JLH did an incredible job thid episode especially!! Her scene where she finds the ring is hilarious, so is her scene with buck. Then we have a more serious talk with hen that was long overdue and i loved seeing it! And then!!!! Her proposing to chimney was such an incredible scene and both her and kenny choi did amazing, i couldn't be happier for two fictional characters!!! Also thought eddie's stroyline this episode was fun and something to look forward to and see where it takes us! The buck arc is also very interesting that i think we'll see the conclusion to in the next episode hopefully and i cannot wait! The whole cast and crew always does incredible and they really brought it this episode!!

What can you even say at this point? The quality is so bad!
itisiabanana9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I debated about reviewing this episode because it's so bad I barely care anymore. Let's start with the good, I guess. It'll be short.

Eddie looked really good and Christopher was there. Chimney and Maddie finally did what we all knew they would and go engaged. Good for them I guess? Though nothing will actually change. Bathena are still wonderful, they better not mess with Bobby in the finale.

The emergency call with the couple where the husband had just passed away actually made me feel something (even if the set was incredible cheap to the point of being distracting).

Everything else? Throw it away. Buck's ridiculous dates and exes coming up. Kameron for some reason coming to Buck with her husband troubles. Does the woman have no friends or family? They get Buck's sperm and suddenly he's their therapist too? Not fun. Not okay. Doesn't make sense.

Buck and Eddie's stories are so repetitive and horrible to watch at this point. We don't need Eddie finding Ana 2.0. Which is exactly what that, Marisol, was it? Character at the very end was. I sincerely hope the show realizes that putting them together would be incredibly unsatisfying. I didn't see chemistry there, but I did see poor acting.

Buck just does the same thing over and over, so I won't go deeper into that.

All in all, the show needs a new boss, because this is truly bad television.

Love is in the air, but not the viewers' love toward the show!
asatasiman9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not sure if watching for Eddie is worth it at this point if he's going to have nothing going on, a bit of scenes with Buck and Christopher and then getting shoved into a love interest as a bargaining chip for having those scenes.

I'll start with the Madney stuff since it's possibly the best part of the episode. There's a neat conversation Maddie has with Hen considering how Hen applied a standard on Maddie that she couldn't even achieve the first time either (cough) CHEATING ON HER WIFE FOR A FLIMSIER REASON THAN LEAVING BECAUSE OF A LITERAL DEPRESSION (cough), and the way Maddie isn't actually surprised finding the ring and in the end she's the one proposing is a neat and logical way to close the already long and winded proposal plot.

Now, let's move on to the mess that is Buck and Eddie, starting with Eddie. Not even Madney can save bad writings coming from these two blockheads.

The flip flop between Eddie and Shannon's relationship starts again. They established that the reason why Eddie and Shannon got married was because she was pregnant. On THIS episode he's selling the relationship as if it's magical as if we haven't seen them not getting along or cannot agree with a lot of thing, the only thing binding them together is the great sex they have. And then they want to sell him meeting Marisol as something magical and "exactly what he's looking for" (real cute there using those exact words on the limited conversation they have /derogatory) after a chat with Bobby about how he met Athena, as if he didn't already make a remark at Buck on how dating someone they met from an emergency was going to work. It's already an Eddie and Ana rehash after we've got nothing much going on for Eddie. It's Season 4 all over again.

And then Buck... (sigh) At this point the showruners doesn't understand how to write Buck other than objectifying him. We've got a sex joke with the ring cutter, and then Lucy barging in on his date with Natalia with a joke about the cheating plot they've had in the last season which is gross btw (at least silver lining it's much less likely for Lucy to return, THANK GOD), Taylor Kelly jumpscare on her writing her experience with the 118 (basically grifting), Buck suddenly losing his math skills during his date with Natalia because apparently he's too enamored he's tongue-tied in front of her (pfft) and then Natalia embarrassingly having to go away after she learned he made a sperm donation on a family because he's "full of life" as if the death doula is attracted to death itself. And then why was Kameron in Buck's apartment? Doesn't she have other friends? How close was she and Connor with Buck to the point that she can barge in to his apartment and ask for a place to stay just because her husband can be contacted? Oh that's right, PLOT CONVENIENCE. And I swear if the glance Buck has on Kameron sleeping is any indication of them ending up together, it's gonna be the worst storyline of the SHOW. PERIOD. Either way, Buck has been sloppily written this season but this episode just takes the cake. Jeez.

The move to ABC means nothing if nothing else is done to change everything else. The last-minute love interest plot for Buck and Eddie has been overdone and beaten to death it gets boring for loyal viewers super fast. At this point Buck and Eddie makes more sense dating each other regardless of gender because not one love interest has been as important for their development other than their interaction with each other. Kristen Reidel needs to be demoted from her current position like yesterday.

Not feeling the love-Everyone deserves better and Kristen NEEDS to go
CeeCeeLove2118 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It took me a few days to get my thoughts together and I'm sorry, but what was this episode?! Seriously, what was this? A retcon of what we used to know for some characters, recycled plots galore, and indecisive Madney tainting a bit what should have been a good and happy storyline for them, plus a whole heck of a lot of wasted time. What's new? Nothing with Kristen at the helm since she hasn't had an original idea in her life.

The calls: The parachute proposal emergency didn't end up being the emergency I thought would happen which was a nice surprise! He actually made a perfect landing but got tangled up in a robbers car? Just bonkers enough to feel like old school 911, however making it all about her accepting the proposal because it was public and planning to break it off later? I knew it would send Chim spiraling exactly like last week which, while I have ALWAYS loved Madney and I ADORE Chim, was making it very hard to root for him to commit if he was so indecisive. The best was the older bride, trapped and desperate to get to her wedding. The whole call was very sweet and it was great seeing Bobby get a little moment to be cheesy. (Sidenote, he wants to marry a couple SO BAD and I thought this would be his moment and they would bring the groom to her but still very sweet how it played out. Give Peter/Bobby more to do! He's SO GOOD!) The team teasing Chim was very cute as well and reminded us they are a family which we have seen too little of lately. The last call, while it started out heartbreaking, went on for FAR too long. Why would we need a whole montage of this couple's life when we don't even know them instead of using that time for the firefam? It's the amnesia couple from 5x18 all over again. I don't think I would have minded quite so much if the rest of the episode time (and time across the past two seasons since Kristen took over full time) was better utilized to show us important main character conversations on screen. Athena had a lovely talk with this stranger but we've not heard her talk that much with BOBBY about her feelings on literally anything. Same with Maddie and Chim who have yet to have an open an honest conversation with EACH OTHER about their feelings in....a VERY long time. Something I would have liked to see before they chose to get married. The depth and honesty of their relationship has always been one of it's strongest selling points and seeing their story take place off screen so often once Kristen took over is deeply disappointing and disrespectful to their characters and love story.

However, speaking of Madney, regardless of the set up being a mess for them to take this leap, Maddie was hilarious staring at the ring and then getting it stuck (though we never find out if she ever made it to her shift? I miss Josh and Linda and Sue and Maddie having friends) and so was Chim dragging that poor insurance lady into his problems because Kenny has such great timing and delivery. I really loved the Hen/Maddie scene too, though I cannot believe it too this many seasons to get one. I was happy Maddie was the one to officially propose and to do it in a way that involved Jee and despite all the waffling, the relationship had a strong foundation from previous seasons and JLH and Kenneth Choi have phenomenal chemistry together and really sold it. They absolutely deserved to take this step, but the journey matters on how we got there and I think the writing let them down quite a bit in that regard which is a shame. I'm excited for a wedding though!

Eddie: Eddie, who worked 3 jobs to try and make ends meet when he was discharged from the army, who always makes sure Chris has what he needs first, who said that he wants nothing more than to spend every free moment with his son, who fought with his estranged wife because he was struggling to pay for surf lessons because Chris wanted them and he would find a way to make do, is suddenly a golfer? A hobby that takes both a lot of time and a lot of money? He has all the clothes and gear and yet it's never once come up? Okay. We DO know for a fact that Eddie likes baseball and Ryan played in high school and college. This would have been the perfect time to hit up the batting cages and we still would have seen Eddie looking GOOD. (I can't imagine him hiking alone either without Buck and/or Chris on a WEEKEND but we all know what Kristen thinks of that) Buck is a crypto bro, Ravi is a landlord, Eddie is a golfer, what show is this? Who ARE these characters? Kristen certainly doesn't know and now the audience doesn't really know either. And WHAT is with this continued retcon of Eddie and Shannon's relationship?! Eddie just said last episode he only agreed to marry her because she was pregnant and he didn't even really propose but now he's trying to recapture the "magic" they had? Where? WHEN?! With a timeline for them (and their ages) that makes zero sense? Why is Kristen glorifying Shannon, and Eddie's relationship with her, as though it wasn't incredibly toxic and they weren't both miserable and as if she wasn't planning to leave again before she died? We could have had a season of Eddie and Chris working through complex emotions about Chris's growing understanding of how he was abandoned. We KNOW Ryan and Gavin can deliver a gut punch of emotions and instead we got this bland flavorless retcon because Kristen has something against parents being allowed to be bad and their kids having their own complicated emotions about that. And as much as I LOVE Bobby and Eddie getting scenes and wish we could see more since Ryan and Peter are so great together and Dad Bobby is the best, it's another recycled plot of Bobby only being there to push Eddie to another love interest and surprise, surprise! In comes Ana 2.0 with Eddie running into a woman he vaguely knows and suddenly out of nowhere having a "spark". Even though he just said he didn't want to date and also JUST told Buck that going out with someone from a call never works out. Why point that out only to have him do the same? Do the writers not know what happened the previous week? Does the showrunner and script coordinator not watch for that kind of stuff? If it was this show 3 years ago I would say it was foreshadowing and meant it wasn't going to work out with her, but with Kristen in charge and the show having prepared these last episodes to be the series finale because they didn't find out until after wrap that ABC was picking up the show? It's just lazy. (Also, Buck worked construction and regularly helps Chris with his homework so him NOT helping with this is another pointedly missed opportunity from a petty showrunner willing to ruin the natural direction of the story to keep these characters apart.)

Buck: Did we really waste this much time with a parade of awful women reminding the audience of every storyline for Buck that was hated? NO ONE wanted to see Lucy back much less to talk about Buck cheating (again treating it like a joke). NO ONE wanted to see Taylor back much less be reminded that she was yet again using Buck the whole time to get inside info to push her career. Which also makes every moment spent trying to make her palatable in s5 even more of a waste of time than it already was. NO ONE knows or cares about Kameron (though at least the actress can act and was enjoyable to watch!) and making the donor arc entirely about the emotions and relationship of guest characters instead of about Buck and HIS emotions and giving us insight, growth, and exploration of HIS character and traumas was another mistake in a storyline entirely made up of mistakes. Another missed opportunity to have Eddie and Chris crash Buck's "date" but that would mean focusing on the actual main characters and their dynamics and Kristen doesn't want that. I'd call Natalia bland but even bland would be watchable which she is not, and the chemistry is so laughably not there it would be funny if Kristen wasn't dead set on forcing this down our throats. What is the point of her character? She didn't even help Buck about his death, just left when it was clear there was more to him than that. Taylor 2.0. Another recycled plot. With all the stuff Kristen has happen off screen all the time, Buck's entire storyline this episode should have been one of them.

Final thought: It was weird to have an episode all about love and then barely show Bobby and Athena (though Bobby grabbing and holding her perp for her was delightful) and not show Karen at all. Glad Hen got to have a relaxing day off but weird to drop that their son is just having a sleepover in the house of the man that saw their son behind their back for months.

I hope the move to ABC brings with it a change in leadership because this show and us fans and these amazing actors and stories deserve SO much better than this.

From bad to worse
JMadems9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
They write this stuff so badly - Would you want someone so worried about "signs" to be the person going to medically responding to your emergency?? No thanks! You have reduced Buck to idiot level in the past 3 years. Now you're doing the same to Chim??

And made Hen "the bad guy" that we are learning to dislike? And Maddie and Hen magically makeup. So Sweet

Natalia left but we all know she'll be back. Kristen can't stand to leave Buck alone to figure things out on his own. Between the dumb donor arc and his lost math talent - can't figure a tip???- you are wrapping it all up in a nice bow.

Taylor back with a tell-all? Hope she does!

And Marisol works the "magic" that is just what Eddie needs. Please. Give it a rest. Tripe.

Are you wrapping up all the ridiculous arcs because you knew cancellation was a good possibility?? The emergencies continue to disappoint. $$$ speak - sad.

The only redeeming portion of this was Athena. Her story was heartfelt and miraculously fit right in to her own life? What am I watching? Hallmark has come to 911! And the wedding with the older couple that found each other again? Hallmark! Lifetime!

Please ABC - find some real writers but first find a true showrunner! Or just cancel it now. It would be easier to take than this stuff this sorry lot of amateurs are giving us. A great cast deserve far better than what you've given them the past 3 years.

No saving grace
carly_hope9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Maddie and Chimney were the sole saving grace of this disaster that should not have made it to the screens. They were super adorable. I loved the proposal and the acting was amazing. Hence the one star.

The heavy-handed way in which they threw a random Latina at Eddie in a "magical" meeting had me almost seeing my breakfast for the second time. His adventures in dating were random and sort of funny. But the last scene was some of the poorest writing I have ever witnessed and I count Mexican telenovela remakes into this.

And don't even let me start on Buck? What was this walk down the nightmare lane supposed to be? Are they really gonna resolve this terrible sperm donor storyline with him ending up with the wife of his ex-roommate? Were they all high when this was deemed a good idea? Was this written by and AI? As otherwise I cannot imagine someone greenlighting this disaster.

9-11 had some poor episodes in its run but this is a new low.

Ep. about love with Taylor, Lucy, Natalia, Cameron, Marisol and only 30 seconds of Bathena 💀
emmak-528209 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not surprised that Fox didn't keep the 9-1-1 because next season they would probably have to move it from the drama club to the reality club as (farmer) firefighter wants a wife.

Even 5b was so much better than 6b, we got Eddie's PTSD, Jonah's stuff with Hen, Bobby's guilt and sobriety issues, an amazing Mayday episode and Madney back.

And now...

We had an episode about love without proper Bathena and Henren, even Karen was invisible in this episode, at least the ring was finally visible for Madney. And of course, lots of random ladies for our boys.

This season is full of filler episode without any drama and interesting character development. Even Buck after his death experience is messy, and his relationship with Bobby is forgotten.

I don't know what ABC will do with this soap opera but we already know that Buck and Eddie will have dating storyline with random women again. We'll be happy to see at least a minute scene of Bathena every episode, Madney's wedding planning will probably happen off-screen and Henren will be just fine.

No drama, no bathena, no promotion, no ratings.

this TV show is getting worse and worse
c7789g9 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Can someone fire Kristen Reidel? This will be my only comment because I'm tired that year after year is getting worse. My only hope is that it gets canceled after season 7 to be honest, because this nonsense has to stop. The love interests with 0 chemistry have to stop too, like what even was that? The Taylor Kelly jumpscare wasn't even the worst thing about this episode, so imagine how bad it really was. Juan Carlos Coto writing this it's a big big big disappointment.

After 4 years I'm going to stop watching it because it's not worth it anymore: BAD writing, boring emergencies, plots without sense...

From bad to worse. Kristen Reidel needs to be fired! I'm tired
Genos2211 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'll start with the only good thing about the episode: the Madney's proposal. It's a shame they put this beautiful moment in such an episode. The proposal was so sweet with Maddie proposing to Chim. But here too a problem: Chimney kisses Maddie on the cheek after saying "yes". SERIOUSLY? For a few seasons now the romance and passion in this show are non-existent! They don't let anyone kiss anymore! Why? Don't tell me it's because of the covid, 'cause in other shows there are kisses and hot scenes without problems. Here the only problem is in the writing room! Kristen Reidel and her team are ruining this show season after season. Where is the passion on this show? Bathena in s2 kissed between trucks and now? Nothing. Madney now only hugs and kisses on the cheek, we barely ever see Henren together on screen. In the early seasons we got hot scenes, kisses, more romance on screen, and now they barely show a bedroom. What is this awful censorship? It's 2023, WAKE UP!

Writers seriously undone the meaning of Eddie's panic attack, his repression theme, the fact that he married Shannon just because she was pregnant ("magic"? WTF!), he couldn't love Ana like she deserved, and now he flirts with all the women that he meets and also with Marisol just because she helped him find the right thing at the hardware store? Marisol randomly picked up by the authors only to give yet another LI to Eddie and repeat Ana's sl. Every time they hire actresses who can't acting and have no chemistry with Oliver and Ryan, making everything so cringe and embarrassing. No one remembered Marisol, and then in the ambulance scene from "Home Invasion" she was so cringe. She and her brother looked more like a couple than siblings. This is what I call "bad acting". And now they've brought her back on the show for Eddie?! It's the craziest idea the writers have ever come up with in these last few episodes. ABSOLUTELY NONSENSE! It's evident at this point that they knew about the show's cancellation and have been trying to close Buck and Eddie's love arcs but they're only making it worse.

If Eddie really starts dating Marisol because he thinks he's ready to move on after Shannon, it would be the exact SAME THING he did with Ana. It would be the SAME scenario but with another woman. This would make absolutely no sense and would also nullify the meaning of his panic attack in 5x01, that was SO important to his evolution. They can't build such generic sl yet and not taking a clear and precise position. In 6b we got many obvious hints about Buddie to now see Buck and Eddie with new LI at the last moment. This is getting so repetitive and awkward.

Buck and Natalia? Writers introduced a death doula to the show, and then she doesn't even help Buck deal with his own death? She is so useless! She's just a waste of time. They could delve into Buck's trauma of his death and never did, rather they thought about making him date another random woman. He needed therapy, a mental breakdown to realize he really died in that accident, not another random woman! I don't understand why writers write these bad storylines for Buck. He deserves better! He had to be alone after breaking up with Taylor, he had to take care of himself, and that's been the case for most of the season. And then? A woman comes along, they connected after a chat and suddenly she's an LI. Why does every woman the writers bring into the show have to become an LI? ENOUGH! Do you know that there is friendship between a man and a woman? It exists, it's real! The sperm donor sl it's not clear and it is not known where they're going with this, and the way Buck looked at Kameron at the end of the episode... I hope it's not what I thought because it would be a HORRIBLE twist. A bad message would pass on this theme. The couch theory -born in 6x01- must lead in only one direction: Eddie. He's always "seen" Buck, he accepts him for who he is and what he's been through (Natalia who?). Buck and Eddie are made for each other, they've built their relationship slowly over all these years and they know each other better than anyone. Kristen, continue to deny the evidence is making you ridiculous! The show would earn triple the audience with Buddie canon, instead Kristen Reidel and writers keep recycling the same sl for Buck and Eddie by giving them random LI with which they have zero chemistry.

With Buddie they would have so many ideas available but, in order to avoid them, they're ending up recycling their own ideas. It's so obvious, fans aren't stupid!

The fact that even the GA starting to ship Buddie shows how much it's the ONLY POSSIBLE solution for these characters. Everyone noticed it! Maybe Buddie weren't planned in the first place, okay, but without realizing it, they created one of the most famous queer coded couples ever!! They have a unique opportunity on their hands and they should exploit it! So, what the hell are they doing? Why are they ruining everything now?

I hope ABC seeing/reading audience's reactions after these bad last few episodes will do something about it. Kristen Reidel and her team need to be fired, She's the most awful showrunner EVER. Just watch the latest episodes of this s6 to understand that she doesn't know how to handle a show. We need new showrunners. We need writers who love this show, the characters, and above all know what the fans want and listen to us.

I'm tired of seeing my fav show drop in quality and see Kristen and the writers queerbaiting us every time. ENOUGH!! ABC, FIRE KRISTEN REIDEL!

Warning: Spoilers
First off where was Karen? Someone really needs to work on those synopsis'

You really need to get rid of Kristen. She is literally spoiling this entire show. The hypocrisy of all the characters is getting old and the constantly reused story lines is ridiculous.

Eddie said you shouldn't date someone you save on a call and yet again he's gonna date someone he met in a call. Having no build up to him and Marisol is as ridiculous as him and Ana, you don't care who these boys date as long as it's not each other, you just throw any single women at them that they've interacted with and hope that the audience will like them.

I really think you should have researched how sperm donation happens before you did this stupid story. I honestly think it's as bad a story for Buck as kidding Lucy was and if by some stupid chance Buck and Kameron end up together you will lose more viewers than you already have.

We got two jump scares Taylor Kelly and Lucy Donato, I love how you will bring back two most hated characters and think we want to see them, they are awful last season and still awful now, we got spoiled Karen who we love! But no we get stuck with those two

Can Kristen and the writers please just actually pay attention to your audience (which are currently dropping like flies) and stop with these stupid storylines that nobody but the showrunner even likes.

I used to love this show; key word USED TO!

I'm afraid I've had enough of these piss poor storylines, random characters coming and going and just overall boring. This show has become unbearable to watch, it's so predictable now. I don't even know what they could do to fix this show at this point. Maybe they need better writers or they could stop trying to force characters into relationships when they haven't healed from their TRAUMA!!!

Is it fox that made this show garbage? I hope this show improves in season 7 with the help of ABC.

Honestly if this is what we Should expect in season 7 I hope it's the last season.

Warning: Spoilers
The second half of this episode is just fooling the audience. I think the first half of the plot about chim, hen, Maddie, and rescue is great, but the progress in the second half makes me very regretful for choosing to watch this episode during lunch! If the screenwriter doesn't want to develop Buck and Eddie's respective emotional connections, they can choose not to write, instead of making up nonsense! This is just a waste of program ratings and word-of-mouth. It definitely did not meet the expectations of fans and audiences! The screenwriter's actions will only lead 911 further down the wrong path, which is not what I want to see.
