A movie to remember

Jaari movies carries cultural reflection of eastern Nepali community with time reference of couples of decade ago. The movie is simple but beautiful. Most strong aspect of this movie is acting. Dayahang rai and Miruna Nagar nail the lead roles. Supporting characters also talented. Most of scenes look natural. Overall it is a well made movie. Able to reflect life of rural mountains of Nepal. Movie also has some humour scenes in between.

One thing to note is this film is not a mass entertainer genre. Movie does gets slow at some point. But overall experience is good. And well thought climax as well.

"Jaari" is a film that has left a lasting impression, as it masterfully portrays our local culture with remarkable attention to detail. The authenticity in its depiction is truly commendable, and it's evident that the filmmakers have invested time and effort in researching and understanding the intricacies of our culture. The cast, whether seasoned actors or newcomers, delivers performances that are both genuine and captivating. What sets this film apart is its ability to balance the emotional depth of the storyline with moments of genuine comedy. "Jaari" is more than just a movie; it's a cultural immersion that will resonate with viewers long after the credits roll !!

Upendra Subba's directorial debut in JAARI showcases his organic and witty writing style, which flows freely and shines throughout the film. However, the rough patch in the marriage of NAMSANG (played by Dayahang Rai) and Hangma (Miruna Magar) due to infertility is hurriedly portrayed, leaving little room for the audience to connect with the characters and understand their actions. The movie's duration should have been utilized more effectively to delve into this conflict and establish a deeper emotional connection. Despite this, the film's narrative post-conflict is smooth, with flawless characters, and moves forward like the stories of Upendra Subba. The patriarchal violence, though not handled properly, could have been made milder to justify the redemption arc and ensure that the movie does not promote toxic relationships or domestic violence. Two scenes, in particular, stand out- Dayahang's breakdown scene where Miruna consoles him and the climax where Palam shows how far anyone can go for love if its pure. Overall, JAARI is an excellent example of an organic Nepali movie that should not be missed.

"I was deeply moved by this movie, which provided me with a unique opportunity to learn about the Limbu ethnic community. It's a film filled with human emotions, drama, love, and tragedy, holding your attention from start to finish. The storytelling, acting, and direction are exceptional. Kudos to actor Dayahang Rai, actress Miruna Magar, and the entire team for giving it their all. The director skillfully kept the script on the right track. I'm proud to share this movie with both the Nepali and foreign communities. Thank you all for this cinematic masterpiece." Looking for Jaari movie sequel part 2.

Tribute to nepali community. "SUBBA"

This movie is one of a kind. Carrying aesthetic value where directors have tried to directly connect with an audience. The efforts that have been put forth to make this movie cultural and relatable can be seen there.

Minor details are taken into consideration, audiences will be having the essence and Beauty of the culture that has been presented. Moreover, the role that has been played by those two lead characters is ''ice in the cake''. I had never felt any character so closely. Hat's off to the team.

Every bit about the movie is interesting, sense of humor has been crafted very well.

Overall movie is worth watching.

Just love it. This is what we call movie. The best kinds of movies are the kinds that are so good that a person wants to be there. They want to be flying on a broom playing Quidditch with Harry Potter. They want to be riding a horse and whipping a whip with Indiana Jones. Movies like that are the ones that I love more than any other kind. My love of movies is so strong that it's affected my career choice in the future. My plans are to study film in college and go on to become a director. I've aspired to becoming a director, even from age nine, when I would take my family's video camera into my room and attempt to make movies. They looked really bad, probably because I was using an ironing board to hold the camera because I didn't have a tripod. They were really crude movies, but they were my movies. It was a great feeling knowing I had been able to make something similar to the movies that I love.

Movies are a huge chunk of my life, and they always will be. Without movies, I don't think I would be as creative as I am today. I hope that later down the road, I'll be able to make my own movies that people will love like all the movies that I love.

Best movie with best Story

Movie is not boring at all from starting to ends. Jaari is full of Cultural reflection of Magar community, Fun, Emotion, Comedy and Social problems, which present you in beautiful way.

Jaari make you realize of women role in every family, it will make you realize and imagine yourself without women(Mom, Wife, Sister) in your family.

I recommend all to watch it with your family.

If you love Old Movie Numafung then you will get similar vibe in very different way with new story and new charectors, At last I love you thanks whole Jaari team and look forward for more new movie with new stories. Good Luck.

Watched this movie with my family,, really great,,Dayahung and Miruna done his work awesome also supported caracters,in this movie I have seen in this movie orginal Kirati culture, Love and relations of husband and wife.. all communities should watch this movie.. the most good scene in this movie is both husband and wife understood what is Love.
