This was a fun and clever episode of Murdoch.
A 20 something young man believes himself to be the legendary Sherlock Holmes.
Just about every regular gets their chance to examine this "Sherlock". All come away knowing he needs help, but impressed by his powers of observation and deduction.
Detective Murdoch even convinces Inspector Brackenreid to release "Sherlock" into his custody, so that he can help with the investigation!
My favorite amusing moment is when a villain is garroting Murdoch from behind.
"Sherlock" announces his deduction that he should hold off shooting until Murdoch's dead weight causes his body to slump down. Then "Sherlock" will have a clear shot at the villain.
Murdoch's face is turning blue as he tries to loosen the garrote. His eyes travel to the back of his head, and he slumps down.
"Sherlock" misses the shot, the villain escapes. And Murdoch is on the floor coughing, staring wildly at "Sherlock"!
Mystery-wise I found the master villain to be fairly easy to figure out, but that did not detract from my enjoyment of the episode.
