I really liked this episode and it is a great end to an amazing series.
The ending of the episode was very powerful. It shows just how extraordinary we are as humans altering the planet in such extreme ways the world has never seen before. This point is especially strong having watched the whole series where it was shown how nature was allowed to run wild for hundreds of millions of years.
The final words from Morgan Freeman (who has done a great job narrating this series) "life always finds a way" were strangely conforting, even though it makes me incredibly sad to hear about the damage we are doing to the earth and all the species living on it.
