Good for a Laugh
kstice-251952 October 2020
Like anyone else watching this short in the 21st century, I saw this short through the Rifftrax episode of House on Haunted Hill. While one would not use this short to educate their children on paper, it can provide a good laugh. Here are a few pros and cons of the film:

Pros: It's a rather quixotic way to teach children about paper, and the animation is decent

Cons: It's not the most useful way to teach about paper and the actors have unrealistic reactions.

Could you ever imagine a world without paper?

Warning: Spoilers
Where do I start with this masterpiece of cinema? First off, this film flawlessly exploits anyone whose ever doubted the wonderful world of paper! Did you know that paper helps make just about every consumer product? I didn't! Secondly, this film simultaneously manages to teach us WHERE paper comes from and HOW it's made! You'll be on the edge of your seat the entire time! Third, the plot in this film is ASTONISHING!!! The plot of this film is simple, a talking paper bag appears in Willie's bedroom after he has to stay in bed for an illness. Paper Bag then proceeds to make Willie learn about how paper is made, exploiting his deviant lack of knowledge on the matter. Later, Willie exposes his newfound gospel of paper, no ones take him seriously! In response, Paper Bag removes all paper products from the world! Knowing he cannot survive, Paper Bag tasks Willie with bringing order to paper and *SPOILER ALERT, IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE FILM DO NOT READ ANYMORE, YOU NEED TO EXPERIENCE THE ENDING FOR YOURSELF. ONLY READ ON IF YOU WISH TO BE REMINDED OF THE GREATNESS OF THIS FILM. I REPEAT: DO NOT READ ANYMORE IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MASTERPIECE!!!!!*

Paper Bag forces Willie to end his life, in sacrifice.

*Spoiler ends here* Overall, this film makes Citizen Kane look like Manos: The Hands of Fate! We, as human beings, will never IN ALL OF EXISTENCE see another film as great as this one! This IS the best film ever made and always will be!!!!!
