Best episode of series 3 so far.
Sleepin_Dragon25 October 2022
Tammy Rene Williams remains a free woman, having murdered David, a much loved father and family man.

Series 3 hasn't been great so far in my opinion, for me this has been the best episode so far.

Maybe this was a little difficult to follow at times, as it focused on two different parts of the story, ultimately it came together at the end, but I would stress you do need to be concentrating on it, otherwise you could easily lose it, it does jump about a little.

Powerful testimonies from David's family, and it's they who pretty much tell the story. How impressive is DJ! What an awesome guy, considering what he went through, I found him so impressive, so grounded, talk about triumph over adversity.

With that tattoo, surely someone must have seen her, even know where she is, that's some distinctive ink.

8/10.

Survivors' Sorrow
Pequod8815 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
While not a genuine mystery as is 3:1 (Mystery at Mile Marker 45), this is a powerful episode of brutal murder and the aftermath of the tragedy. While more of an "America's Most Wanted" format, the focus on the family makes it memorable. So many true crime docs focus so much on the killer that the loved ones left behind get short shrift. Not so here. The loss is never-ending, especially when the killer is in the wind. We gain insight on the victim and his family, even as the crime and grisly aftermath receive detailed attention. Good mix of old and new footage/photos. We get a sense of the tragedy.

The killer was cold and methodical. Taking time to dismember and dispose of the body along I-75. She was given plenty of time to eventually flee, obviously having done extensive planning. Two train rides led to New York, and she has not been seen again. Hard for a layperson to understand how there was no arrest once the body was completely recovered and cause of death determined. Did she leave no DNA or prints on the three bundles? The slashed tires were a red flag. The US Marshals have not been able to locate the killer...yet. Here's hoping for justice for the family of David and a prison cell for Tammy.

The bags and a son

Warning: Spoilers
How shocking and brutal that was. To see that body part cut and was pretty horrible. And find it interesting to see and to know more about the case and how weird the girlfriend acted. And how she was pretty possessive, jealous. And looked a passionate crime. And how they find the rest of his body. And he know a little bit more about the body and the cause of death. And how the murder get away with separate the bodies and throw it ln the road. And Tammy the principal suspect is pretty hard to incriminate because lack of evidence. And we saw her run away from the crime scene. Pretty hard to catch her too. An interesting case but horrible too.

Wgere Is the Mystery
One-Movie-a-Wk-Guy28 May 2023
First off, my condolences to the family.

The police and the family both know who did it and the culprit is now on the run - where is the mystery? I saw several people complain that episode 1 wasn't a mystery, either, though I believe it is. This one clearly is not, it's just no more than a run of the mill 'America's Most Wanted' - like episode. While I do hope that they find her and bring her to justice, this episode is the first episode ever in the three seasons that left me disappointed.

My guess is that the show's creators were forced by Netflix to toss the it's fans a bone to finally get a "mystery" solved so it can generate more press for the show & Netflix itself ...

Unsolved Mysteries.

Warning: Spoilers
Not a mystery or unsolved, the killer goes free because of inaction and incompetence.

I suspected the texts were her using his phone immediately, but they conclude that looking back. I find the son's story entirely self absorbed though. She didn't acknowledge him when he came to the house, she went to put trash out and ran back past him and locked the door. He knew something was up, but just left... That's putting yourself first. If not acting on it in the house out of fear, at least do something once you've left the house. Then talks about playing his game like his dad would've wanted, which is fine, but talking about how well he played and asking if his dad would be proud, come on.
