Hilarious & cute

This Rom-com is both funny and cute, it has a good story-line but the exchanges between Sua & Jib were ROFL. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Humour, True Love and Thailand
herlinaind30 September 2014
I think this is the best Thai movie I watch. Between humor and the drama is very fitting mixed in a movie. With players so has the character to be the spice that fits as a movie. Especially with a female artist facts, Icepreechaya, which in the film This is the first film but seen as a actress experienced. And also the daily life of Bangkok and Chonbury pretty cool disclosed in this film. With humor sometimes excessive but not reduce the quality of the film and the drama romantic pasted with very fitting. And of course, the conflict of two bride and groom who became a central theme of the film is very natural played either by Ter (Chantavit) and Ice (Preechaya). coupled with back sound that accompanies this film again very fitting. when the incident silly, sad and of course when the romantic side appears

A Very Funny One For Those In Need Of Good Comedy
nkitknw7 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Recently I wanted to watch something different so I chose this Thai movie . I watched this with English subtitles .

The plot is short ,simple but very funny and beautifully presented to us . It is full of slapstick comedy , weird characters, romance and emotions. It is full of some very hilarious events but also focuses on the development of characters and relations between them . The plot goes like this -

Sua (Chantavit Dhnasevi) and Jib ( Preechaya Pongthananikorn) are like any other couple just with one problem they are keeping their relation secret because of their company's no office relationship condition. It's not a big deal until they decide to get married. One of them must leave the company but none of them wants to that. Suddenly because of a ATM error of giving double money for some time sets them to a competition with no holds barred to see whoever recovers the money first will not leave. This turns out to be a very journey with small face offs between them and at the same time development in their relationship.

Well movie is awesome but it has its share of errors. Like initially they show us that lot of people used that glitch to make money but it turns out actually there were only few people. The comedy is sometimes exaggerated with some unrealistic

scenes. Finally the movie is fantastic with awesome background music and short stories . Cinematography is good . We get

introduced to a new type of society and culture. It's a worth watch movie for those who love comedy and romance.

Some seriously hilarious parts

We had to rewind to watch some parts twice, they were so hilarious. Haven't enjoyed a comedy this much in a long time. It really delivers some seriously funny scenes. This is a movie I'll be watching again and again.

Devoid of comedy and anything interesting...
paul_haakonsen25 October 2022
Granted, when I sat down to watch the 2012 Thai romantic comedy "ATM: Er Rak Error", I must admit that I was expecting a tad more than what director Mez Tharatorn managed to deliver here. Sure, I hadn't heard about the movie prior to sitting down here late in 2022 to watch it. But it being an Asian romantic comedy was enough to make me have an interest in watching it.

The storyline, as written by Aummaraporn Phandintong and Mez Tharatorn, was a swing and a miss in terms of entertaining me. The concept of the storyline was just too mundane and the alleged comedy was nowhere to be seen. And the character gallery has about as much appeal as watching wet paint drying on a wall, so there was no enjoyment there to be had either.

I managed to endure a staggering 43 minutes out of a run time of 123 minutes. It felt like I had watched the movie for 4 hours or more, because the narrative was so slow paced and uneventful. I just tossed the towel in the ring and gave up at that point, because nothing appealed to me about "ATM: Er Rak Error".

Of the entire cast ensemble participating in this movie, then I was only familiar with actor Chantavit Dhanasevi. And while they had good actors and actresses on the cast list, then the performers literally had nothing to work with, and it showed on the screen.

If you enjoy Asian romantic comedies, which I also do, then I would strongly suggest that you give "ATM: Er Rak Error" a wide berth, because it just simply isn't worth the time, money or effort. And believe you me when I say that I am never returning to watch the rest of this movie. I was just, hands down, simply too boring.

My rating of "ATM: Er Rak Error" lands on a generous two out of ten stars.

Must watch if you want to have painful cheeks.

A comedy movie should make you laugh and not just laugh while you are watching the movie, in it there should be comic scenes that makes you laugh even while you are thinking about it! And that's what ATM promises and delivers. Superb!
