Maryam faces the hearing, but remains worried that Catherine won't be part of the proceedings, Helen faces an anxious wait about Guy's life, which hangs in the balance.
I have to get this off my chest first, I know I'm sounding like a broken record here, but once again, it can't help itself, and portray every single man as abhorrent, cheating, useless, obnoxious, I could go on, Jack, they didn't waste even twenty five seconds, he's made up to consultant, and instantly starts laying down the law, I know it's a drama written by a woman, telling the story of three women, but one decent male character, would it have hurt?
The positives, I have adored Maryam from the off, initially I wished the whole show had just focused on her, her story was great, and she gets closure, Parminder Nagra you are awesome, DI Ray soon I hope. Catherine definitely has won me over, she's grown on me, I've ended up looking her, Helen, I'm still not a fan, no fault of the acting, she's just awful.
It was an ok series, I'd sooner it didn't come back for a second series, or if it does, how about a bit more balance?
