Warning: Spoilers
I've enjoyed this series so far but this was very much a Cipaldi episode and what a performance. His character up until this episode was very much a competent police man but also signs that he's a bit bent or morally sketchy at best and you're led to believe that he stitched up Errol for the murder or at least overlooked evidence. In this episode we get the flashbacks to the Errol interview and it's clear that Cipaldi's character is a lot more nuanced and the way the pair pressure keeps building on him from all angles (his boss, his team, his daughter, that his wife had just recently and suddenly died) The whole scene with Errol's dad in the allotment was just amazing, very intense and well acted.

Warning: Spoilers
At long last we finally got some answers and learned a little bit more about the arrest and what had happened. I think at this point we are all just waiting for the end of Criminal Record so there was not a crazy amount of interest in figuring out the result.

It was one of the best episodes of the show, but so far there have definitely been only a handful week to week that I have actually thoroughly enjoyed.

I just think they deviated too far from the present and what is going on at the expense tonight. We have only one show left so it is finally almost over, but overall a decent episode for sure.
