Ava James is a top senior track star who needs to keep her grades up and asks her ADHD brother for his uppers to help her run on high and succeed at sports and academics. He complies but her mother, Leslie, gets suspicious. Soon, Ava's "secret to success" is discovered by her classmates who want in on the action and she starts pushing the pills! Pretty good movie with a young Canadian cast. Recommended!!!

Taught little thriller!

Another high school "good kid bad kid" movie but enough plot twists and original story lines plus strong acting to grab you from the start and take you along for a fun ride. Kudos to villain Victoria Baldeserra as Madison for bringing just the right amount of psychotic paranoia to make a much done character. I'm glad they didn't do the quick 5 minutes at the end of the movie incomplete wrap up that LMV can sometimes be guilty of. This one had enough defined characters who all contributed nicely to the final payoff. So give it a watch. This one stacks up with some of the better LMN offerings that we used to consider guilty pleasures but no more.
