Another party at the end of an NCIS show season
cpotato101024 May 2022
Just like this season's NCIS: Los Angeles, this episode ends in a party.

However, this was a much more complex, and enjoyable episode, so they earned it.

A great many twist and turns in this one, and yet another kick-ass female foreign agent. What is interesting is that actress Izabella Miko (Alina Nikitin) is not also a stunt person. Someone who was also in Coyote Ugly (2000)!

While this episode did have the side issues, they did not overwhelm the main story. Perhaps because it was a two-part story,

btw, supposedly Magnum P. I. and NCIS: Hawai'i are in the same "universe", perhaps we can see Jay Hernandez and/or Perdita Weeks show up in an episode or two.

I'm such a sucker...

...but I LOVED Whistler's song to Lucy. It was a great cap-off to a really great episode. NCIS Hawaii has really developed into an enjoyable series with relatable characters.

Only Riverdale could pull off the ending.

A lot of tension in that last scene. A mini musical à la Riverdale having other cast members involved, namely Lucy with Ernie singing from the balcony would have been relieving. Sing Ernie! Sing Lucy!

Lots of Ohana

While not as intriguing as other episodes, it brought the characters closer, some literally! Next season will no doubt bring Russia as an even bigger threat along with more romance.

I can't believe you kept this series and canned Magnum PI. Low for NCIS, pressure plates, agent can't judge distance, agent in charge torqes neck of Captain after explosion - it could have left him a quadrapelagic.. Who wrote this bore? No content check?

NOBODY CARES THIS MUCH ABOUT LUCY & WHISTLER!!!
JabezGill25 May 2022
Oooohhhh myyy laaaawwwdddddd.... Why is 1/3 or more of every episode dedicated to that relationship?!

It's like... Hawaii police procedural... but let's interject a forced relationship where both participants act like high schoolers.

"Wait.. ARE YOU SAYING I STILL HAVE A CHANCE" *nervously & excitedly fidgets like a 13 year old"

These are like 35 year old adults. I get that these shows have to focus on personal lives and relationships a bit, too. But the Lucy & Whistler stuff is dominating to much of the episode runtime and it is written so... childish and immature. The writers clearly want us really invested in this relationship... but the fans are here for the NCIS aspect of the show. Everybody's home life and relationship should be worked in but not focused on for vast chunks of multiple episodes.

It's season 1 and they're writing this show like it's season 12 and they're out of ideas trying to it the episode count.

Do better in season 2. Please. Hawaii is a great location, NCIS shows are fun, interesting, and entertaining... this show has been none of those things.

Homeopathic level brand dilution!
bosporan24 May 2022
This season was OK (not great) at the start despite being derivative with weak plotlines lacking in credibility and some teenage level interpersonal drama.

Now it has left rationality completely with this drivel as the concluding episode - unbelievably this has been renewed for season two, without the NCIS branding, it would have no chance!

Asinine!

Agents in their right minds would not be dealing with romance in the middle of investigations/interrogations. What a stupid show.

It's too bad because the other characters act the way you would expect. Do us a favor and get rid of the adolescent shenanigans or cancel the show.

Oh dear

Sorry fans of show but our family has tried really hard to like it to no avail. It's a struggle to watch to end on an episode we're so bored. Only character we like is Earnie. We won't be continuing on next season but best of luck to those that do. The rating is for the show as a whole.

I really tried
katerinasotiriadh17 June 2022
I really tried to like it. I gave this show 22 opportunities. It was like a long, endless episode without any interest or progress in the plots and the characters, they are not likable at all. Do they think that this tech guy for example is funny? The scene in the last episode with the bitten apple wasn't funny. It was disgusting. It's not trolling its the truth. This show shouldn't ever be called NCIS. On one hand it's not writer's fault they are working with the material they have. The acting skills of this cast is non-existent. I wonder if they had some good contacts on CBS and took the roles,I can't explain otherwise the choice.

First few episodes then ......
ajwiiiaw25 May 2022
The first few episodes were decent but now you have gone down the political sewer line drifting farther and farther left and just plain stupid. The whole token gay relationship is interfering with the show, it is taking on a life of it's own and is rapidly killing the show. It was already hard to believe you let this replace the other two shows but now you are going to ruin the whole brand. In a word you suck now.
