George Ager is questioned on the stand, his defence claim that he was threatened and coerced into allowing Lanigan to receive goods in prison.
This is a strong conclusion, it has been the most intriguing story, the way the whole thing is unpicked and reformed by defending counsel was quite straightforward. I think this has perhaps been one of the less ambiguous cases so far.
It's perhaps the first time we've seen Mr Deeley a little quiet, less forthright and churlish then is often the case.
A plea change, I think it's the first time that this device has been used on the series, it was good to see them change things up a bit.
It was a fine cast, it seems as though more and more names were being attracted to this show as it went on. I hope we get to see more from William Mervyn in future episodes.
8/10.
