The Tonight Show with Fallon is already a nightly master class in "how to be fake", but this was taken to an extreme degree with tonight's episode featuring an interview with Paris Hilton.
First of all, Paris Hilton? Is this 2003? Secondly, it quickly became apparent Jimmy and Paris got a couple of free Apes (look up the public ledger, it's public record) and their "interview" was nothing more than a veiled paid endorsement of NFTs. Don't you have to disclose stuff endorsements like this when it's something like an NFT, which is an investment?
Anyway, I can't believe I watched an audience applaud a still image of a poorly drawn cartoon monkey whilst listening to Paris Hilton murmur "It reminds me of me". Okay.. Is this Hell? Are we all dead?
