Incredible insight into fertility for everyone
lora-309-96618 February 2022
As a fertility doctor, I really appreciate learning from people reflecting on their own fertility journey. Thank you to Chiquita Lockley and her team for this wonderful film that leaves me laughing, crying, and reflecting on how much more we need to talk about these important topics.

Much needed content
chanadams-5005916 February 2022
As an African American Ob/Gyn who treats women of all colors, it's amazing how many of my African American patients have never had any of their previous physicians mention issues surrounding fertility prior to seeing me. I was excited to see this content presented to empower African American women to start the conversation. It's unfortunate that the previous reviewer is "having a sad" due to this film's lack of race-neutrality. Disparities in healthcare must be addressed by speaking directly to the marginalized. The medical information is generalizable even if the context isn't, and the majority population can extrapolate that portion to themselves if needed, as underserved populations have done for years. (Also... *you're *woman and *cause)

I am so thankful for this film. While some women told me they found it triggering it was comforting to know that this journey is very common. The number of women that shared their story and each was so different. I especially appreciate that this focused on black women's fertility because for years I did not know that black women dealt with issues with trying to conceive. I grew up in a generation that focused on birth control and not getting pregnant so it never dawned on me there would one day be a day I wanted to get pregnant and couldn't.

Very black only

If your a white women dealing with infertility PCOS or any other medical disease or issue that causes you to be unable to carry to term or even conceive don't even bother watching this it is very very divisive and black women only centered. This Documentary only concerns black women it doesn't even mention that the concerns and medical issues are not just black women issues these affect women every race.
