This should not be called Queer as Folk. It is terrible and denigrates the name of the previous series. The dialogue could have been written by a pre schooler and the storylines are straight out of Daytime Soap. Such a shame.

I enjoyed the cast but storyline for mingus is ridiculaus. As a 17 year old with an emotionally accepting mother there is no way that Mingus didnt get the rainbow talk. Especially since their drag mother it makes no sense. After this episode I don't believe the show had any of the cast/ppl use a condom. Even the old show popped out condoms the first episode. If they were going to do thst story then they could have done hsv aka herpes instead.
