Pacific Heights turns to murder.
Sleepin_Dragon3 March 2022
The second part of the Jamison Bachman story, we learn more of how he terrorised his victims, and how he took his criminality a stage further.

A truly shocking story, with some jaw dropping testimonies from his victims, however I wasn't expecting the twist.

Pacing was perhaps a bit of an issue here again, they did repeat a few points over.

I must admit, Bob's somewhat blinkered view on Jamison, I found a little sickening to listen to if I'm honest, he needed to call him out for what he was, a monster.

A really surprising conclusion. 7/10.

That's why the MAFIA exists
Faristuta4 March 2022
I'm a law-abiding citizen as they come, and I don't like the glorification of organized crime but they existed for a reason, and it's something like this. When you can decide who gets to stay in your home and who won't. The law failed these people. These 2 episodes made me angry so I gave them a good rating.

Unbearable. Slow, exaggerated and almost comical
finnthehumanirene24 March 2022
Worst two episodes and sadly the longest.

I know the show does it for a dramatic touch, but they really need to stop with the cartoons. It's misleading to portray him in a somber way, with evil-like features and the exaggerated shadows under his eyebrows, evil half-smile. Enough. Men like him are not "monsters", they're horrible human beings but you won't know it just by looking at them, it's not easy to spot, they're usually charming and even if they demeanour changes their physical appearance won't. He still looked normal when he was committing the crimes, that's the scary thing, you can never know.

Some other moments are so over dramatic they're comical. "Everything was fine ... until it WASN'T" dun dun dunnnn... turning a picture to black&white and making their eyes red, while slowly zooming on their face. I actually laughed out loud.

Apart from that, I really thought most of the victims in these 2 eps. Were plain stVpid - dull interviews and annoying voices. And I know it's never the victim's fault and the system should've protected them, but some of these testimonies were uber irritating.

Robert Seriously?
This guy is about as clueless and delusional as it possibly can get- I don't care how sympathetic you think this psychopath is and how great it is catching up, you encouraged this raging lunatic and should be held culpable for his brothers death and you are disgusting.

THERE IS A REASON THIS LUNATICS FAMILY HAD CUT ALL TIES TO HIM AND WERE SO DISAPPOINTED. His brother told you to stay out of it, but you just couldn't keep your nose out. You encouraged and projected on to him, and have not a single redeeming value.

These people who were so ignorant to the reality of the world and couldn't be bothered with performing the most rudimentary of due diligence are bad enough, but this pathetic excuse for a male who has the audacity to sit there and proclaim what a 'good guy' Jamison was and how he's just misunderstood is rage-inducing.

A pathetic series that plays out like a senior year film school thesis. Skip it.

Pushed to murder & suicide
Evrnyldrm4 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
These 2 episodes were the weakest in the series. The point of view is extremely one sided. There is a really disturbed man who was pushed to murder-suicide. A tragic end.

Leaves out some pertinent facts
samoanui4 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Not sure why they decided to leave out some pertinent facts:

1- Jamison left Tulane after one year because of what he perceived to be Anti-Israel sentiment 2- He moved to Israel where he joined the military. The stress on Israeli soldiers is of course well known, especially in the years he was there.

3- He met a Dutch woman in Israel and moved to the Netherlands with her. The Netherlands at that time, had a world famous Squatters Rights movement.

4-His father refused to pay for his grad school degrees despite paying for his brother's Ivy League degree. When his father passed away, he left Jamison nothing despite him being in debt (from his Masters in History at Georgetown and his JD at U of Miami, where he was a good student in both programs). If he had a bit of money, he probably could have taken a bar review course and passed the bar with little effort.

Not sure why they left these facts out but they are useful in understanding what happened.
