The hard drive

Warning: Spoilers
So the suspicions arround Hawkins become real but i think its a mislead and just try to confused us. I think the real threat is Diane. I dont really know it for sure but i think we will discover things slowly or maybe im just wrong. The killer couple tried to kill Rose but Parker saved her and they maybe have a clue that what the uncles of Diane worked on: it was the accident of the train where parker was in. Quite surprising: what they worked on it? And what did they find? Is Parker involved? And is he not an ally finally? We dont really know for sure. Hawkins died so now need to find the new threat. It was entertaining and i enjoyed the chasing scene trough the hotel even if its pretty classic but i enjoyed it anyway. Clearly need to see more and to know more about this case.

A little disappointed after such a great first episode.

Rose is safely placed in a hotel and given guards, but lucky for her, Peter is on hand, when someone orders her security team to stand down, and the two assassins appear.

We've definitely seen it before, a typical on the run drama, with the bad guys in toe, and a secret foe hidden safely away.

I'm just going to say this, not a scratch on either of them, all that glass, and not a single cut or graze. You do need to suspend your disbelief somewhat, but in terms of entertainment value, it was a dub watch.

I don't think this was a patch on the first episode, there was so subtle, heavily dramatic, yes, but it never felt silly, at times this one was just way too far fetched.

Very stylish, very well produced, well acted and pacey, it certainly wasn't boring. Hopefully they'll bring it back down to Earth in the next couple of episodes.

6/10.

Pretty Usual On the Run Stuff
Hitchcoc9 August 2023
Nothing very remarkable--been done so many times. The two are now on the run, pursued by a couple of murderous psychotics. This really stretches the limited believability. The access this guy has and the trust. Rose is left defenseless when someone pulls the Secret Service protection and Pete gets barely gets there and engages in gunfire. The have holed up in a remote cabin, but have the problem that it has been indicated that there is someone close to the President that is up to something monumental when it comes to the country. It's just a series of close calls that are hard to accept. It needs to get more realistic.

2 episodes in and this lost me

Warning: Spoilers
She actually used the top secret night phone to call him up for a chat? And he didn't immediately hang up and call her on his cell phone? This is terrible writing.

The first episode was a passable 6-7 out of 10 but the second episode really derails the plot and shows a lack of interest in realism with this spy plot. The main character actually sleeps on a couch near the oval office and no secret service move him on or ask him what he's doing there?

I won't spoil who the main villain probably is but the writing is so transparent that it's clear to see with 8 episodes to go.

Basically if by the second episode this is losing you I wouldn't blame you.

IDK man...

Warning: Spoilers
I atched this show since it was trending earlier and honestly I just wanted something to pass the time that's why I am really not giving the best attention to detail but being honest here, there were a couple of things that made me scratch mmy head a few times in this episode.

The first being the fact that this is a GROWN man, who has been and FBI agent for god knows how long and the first time he defies orders is because a woman was shaking her head at him. No problem with them making decisions together but it's truly getting weird how the main character can't even make up his mind on his own.

Second was the fact that she called him on his special line yet somehow he didn't hang up, like? That just defies everything that and FBI agent should be. I get that she's his love interest but there is a limit to what my brain would take.

The so called plot twist of Hawkins being the villain? Really? Any person with two and a half brain cells would hundred percent suspect Diane had something to do with it.

Maybe this show will surprise and there will be an actual plot twist, but honestly as far as the first two episodes go I don't think that is very likely.
