Fallen like Citadel

What on earth has happened to this show?

The first 3 episodes were slick and exciting but these past 2 episodes have just felt like fillers.

Were these episodes that were reshot when the changed the showrunner.

The declassified bonus tries to dress up what is (or isn't!) happening but it really doesn't hide how much the show has fallen (like Citadel!).

Thankfully, Lesley Mandville shows how great Brits are playing baddies while fellow British star Richard Madden shows that Brits have to put on fake American accents if they want to be the good guy.

I heard about scenes being shot in Birmingham with over 400 extras. There was no sign of that in the preview of the season finale. I do hope that it hasn't been cut.

This waiting a week for an episode is downer too.

Well, they kept the action high in this one, and they teased a lot of big stakes, especially at the end: save your daughter and let the world be destroyed by nuclear weapons. What a decision.

But overall the episode just did not deliver. This show feels like it is a mess on paper and that hurts the fight scenes which are good and how efficient and effective they can be.

I feel like Citadel needed a little bit better structure. Instead it just seems like Amazon asked for a big budget popcorn action flick and that's what they got, but we as fans were hoping for a little more depth with this program.

Citadel so far has been ludicrous. This episode is a convoluted mess with more flashbacks.

There is a race against time. Mason and Nadia stop to iron out their differences in Morocco.

Is Nadia a traitor that help bring down the Citadel? She has been seen with a notorious wanted terrorist called Rahi.

It turns out Nadia had a baby girl many years ago. She left her under the care of her father. Who happens to be Rahi!

As for Bernard, he thought he could turn Anders Silje and manage to escape. Only Dahlia spoiled the party.

It is a good job that the late Anders Silje has a twin brother. Dahlia convinced him that Bernard was responsible for Anders demise.

It is watchable, it is slick, it is not original and is on the verge of being entertaining rubbish.

Where have i seen this one before??Oh yeah True Lies TV show. I guess use and repeat from other shows. One organization is trying to defeat the other because oh they hurt people so my lifes mission is to bring them down. And who is it bringing them down a woman. WIth True Lies it too 13 eps. With this 5 to explain why they are doing this...

It good there is a writes strike because nothing good has been produced for the last decade. You have some one offs but for the most part they are picking from the same scripts doing a a slight modification but the story is the same. In this case between TL and C. TL eveyone keeps their memories and this one it is a journey to find the truth. The side stories are better and so is the acting. TL is horrible but getting more disappoint as the story goes on. C has less action and more boring drama. I do not see many staying for the long term.
