Kilimanjaro: The Big Red Nose Climb
jboothmillard1 December 2009
Warning: Spoilers
When I heard a bunch of celebrities were climbing the highest mountain in Africa, in aid of Comic Relief, I was certainly not going to miss seeing how it went. Narrated by Andrew Lincoln, this documentary sees celebrities in all media prepare, climb, camp on and ultimately reach the top of this high summit. The celebrities were Take That's Gary Barlow, Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole, Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh, Boyzone's Ronan Keating, TV presenter Fearne Cotton, TV presenter Ben Shephard, actress and presenter Denise Van Outen, and Mis-Teeq's Alesha Dixon. They all suffered exhaustion, hunger, thirst and cold conditions during the journey, and also visiting some places in need of Comic Relief's help, but there were some funny moments along the way, and it was all worth it for the money raised. Very good!
