I'm confused on how Robert Patrick, who plays Cave Gallo on Scorpion and in the same "universe" as MacGyver, play a different character in this episode?

Oh look, another evil blonde again. The show runners are really pushing the hate. And it's getting double ridiculous, the team don't have to look around the world to find evil codex criminals, just capture and eliminate all blond women, that's what you wanna in achieve in real life anyway, right? Who is acting like Nazis now (just with a different target)??
