Major improvement!

Ok wow this episode is great. It's very clear that each episode is a different genre and it absolutely works. This one being an action movie is hilarious and it works better than the previous episode. Brett is a great character and there wasn't any annoying or mediocre comedy. I think there is still an issue with the tacked on discoveries of new information at the end of the episode that just feel half baked but I had a smile on my face the entire episode.

Never laughed so much

The laughs come thick and fast in this episode centred on the character Brett who not only gives plenty of reasons to kill the Dave Franco character but also somehow points out another female character who could have done the dirty deed. We get to see more of Franco himself and hams it up brilliantly to give us logical reasoning that someone might have killed him yet it's all done with knowing clever sarcasm.

This episode is Brett's mind movie . He sees himself as a Dominic Toretto type action hero . Ike Barinholtz does a hilarious impression of Dom. Even has a catchphrase "You have my word. And my word is my bond. It's the only thing I've got that's worth a damn. ".

Brett's one liners are great . It is shown Family is important to Brett and he wants to do right by his daughter. There is even a high speed car chase. He imagines his car chase with Aniq ,Yasper and Chelsea as fast and furious type car chase . Like Dominic Toretto he drives a fast muscle car .

I loved this episode. I have seen a couple of negative reviews . I don't get the negativity . This show is hilarious . The Afterparty does a fresh take on the murder mystery comedy genre . I love that each episode is told from a different character perspectives . With a different movie genre each episode .

stop with the comedy please

An other episode with a different point of view . This time its Brett who tell his story . We know also that Ariqu listen and spy the conversation . I found it pretty boring again . Too much comedy . I think for 30 minutes : 20 minutes were too much in comedy genre and i didnt appreciate . I found it pretty superficial and we learn a little bit more of some details but thats all . Aniq also have a way to tell who kill the rich guy . Pretty diappointed.
