A Finale Extraordinaire!
kamille28 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I have enjoyed every second of this series from start to finish and never been bored or disappointed in the slightest. The writing, the cast, the unique and wonderful characters, the set design.. every element of Superstore has been stellar... and yet.. I still didn't think they could do justice to the storylines in just a half hour. ..... But, boy, was I wrong!

I have seen scads of finales in my life, but this one was the creme de al creme! One of the best, if not the best - hands down!

They wrapped up everyone's story arc without making it seem rushed or unrealistic. They did justice on the Jonah-Amy front - and then some - which must have been a heck of a challenge to the writers, considering how little time they had to package it in.

Garrett's final mic announcement was the icing on the cake... and the picnic scene was everything I could have hoped for and more! But the finale kept on giving.. as the scene with the stars gave us the cherry on top of the scrumptious treat that was "All Sales Final".

If ever there was a perfect series comedy on television, it was Superstore. Props to everyone who made it the brilliant gem that it was, and for giving the audience an ending that was sheer perfection!

Perfect Ending

Very few shows have ended as perfect as this one. Personally the only 2 that come to mind (though, completely different genre's) are Breaking Bad and Superstore. It just felt complete.

Bravo.

The best ending for this show!

One of the best conclusions I have ever seen to a great light hearted show. Cannot describe how much I loved this show and how much I will miss it. It was fun, Superstore!

Satisfying final

Superstore can claim it had a fitting end with a lot of things coming full circle. I'm not a fan of forcibly adding happy endings for everyone but it felt natural for the store to eventually close down. The storylines also felt natural for Glenn, Dina, Garett and Jonah and Amy. A nice wrap up for everyone involved. Garett signing off at the end and the last few scenes was nicely done. Cast and crew should feel happy after ending on a good and positive note.

Warning: Spoilers
I remember watching the first episode of this series when it first began, I was hoping it would get at least 3 seasons. And to see the series was able to go on for 6 seasons is impressive, I will miss this show. I believe this season was the weakest so I'm glad the series didn't drag on for a few more years. The series finale took things full circle, I loved seeing the glow in the dark stars reference on Amy's kids bedroom ceiling, paying tribute to Jonah's act in the first episode. I thought the little glimpse of what their lives would be like in the future was sweet too. Superstore is an underrated tv series that had unique episode concepts, most of all I will probably miss those random mini episode scenes with the customers.

Perfect ending

Maybe the best Finale I've seen.. We often don't get decent closure to our favourite shows, so congrats to writers and actors on delivering a heartfelt ending to a great series. The final 5 minutes were magic..

BEST FINALE EVER! So satisfying for fans!
catfanatic88827 March 2021
I loved everything about this show and can relate to so much of the camaraderie and fun with old coworkers like years ago when I worked retail. This show always made me laugh but had heart, too. You felt like these people onscreen were really their characters as they developed them so well. Thank you all for the years of joy that you brought to us with this amazing cast and terrific storylines. You will be missed.

Perfect ending

When it comes to making finales, most shows get it wrong. By the time they're on their final season you can tell the writers are out of ideas. With Superstore you could tell they knew what they were doing. Rarely does a comedy series wrap everything up so perfectly and Superstore did just that. The ending was everything a fan could have asked for. What a great end to a great series. Will definitely miss this show.

Give the writers credit - this was one of the best series finales ever. I think all faithful fans of Superstore are thrilled with the ending. I am so glad they brought back Amy to bring the show to its proper conclusion.

I wouldn't change a thing. When most series endings fall short, this one checks all the boxes.

Absolutely nailed the ending
hutchingsbj7 April 2021
Too many series finales are cringe worthy or just plain bad. This one is not. Great ending, not too sloppy or overly romantic. Tied up many lose ends; including the rouge severed foot storyline without it being too creepy.

Now a spinoff would be good (but not Cheyenne and Bo please)

Great finale that has some issues

Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this finale, it was funny, emotional and full of very fun callbacks and it really paid tribute to the show and its spirit.

I liked the character's send off, As a huge fan of Dina, I really liked her growth this season and I thought the finale really gave her a nice ending all around!

Oh and of course, I am so glad we got the reveal of the foot murderer! That's all I ever wanted!

However, a big issue with it and the later part of the season and the finale is you really need to ship Amy and Jonah to put up with all the drama they packed into the last couple episodes, and since I don't, I just felt it was a waste of time...why did the writers even introduce Hannah? Did we really need a new obstacle this late in the game?!

I don't really care or mind that Jonah and Amy end up together, in fact it's a large part of the show and I can see how it felt necessary, I do however feel it took too much time of the finale, time that could have been better spent giving Jonah and Garret or Cheyenne and Mateo some final goodbye/ emotional scenes since these friendships are just as important as the romances. Or maybe we could have had that deleted scene I read about where robot Glen is set free! Much better use of the time if I do say so myself!

Anyway, it's a great finale, even the few things I didn't like don't detract from how emotional those last few minutes were!

Amy Amy Amy
yetanotherstephanie122 January 2022
She's been gone for a whole season, and true to form shows up at the last minute and makes the whole ending all about her. It was completely against her character that she would just quit her job with nothing else lined up- every single other episode with her in it showed how willing she was to throw her employees, coworkers, and friends under the bus if she could benefit- all of her storyline were about her trying to one-up people while still being perceived as loveable. She was a horrible character, and she ruined the last episode.

A HAPPY, BUT SAD, ENDING
lomerson227 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I laughed... albeit with tears in my eyes. Thanks and KUDOS to all involved in producing this series and especially in how it came to a close. I'm an aging, broken, retired Army veteran and I've lived with trauma much of my life and severe physical pain for the last decade. Superstore, with all of its sarcasm, irreverence and flawed characters, somehow struck a deep chord in me. This show, while on the surface seemed almost slapstick physical comedy that made me laugh out loud, also frequently led me to think about my opinions about many things. Happy ending are too rare in today's world,THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR GIVING US SUCH A WONDERFUL, HAPPY WRAP!

I've already gone back to watching series one on netflix - and you know what? There's stuff I missed first time round so that is totally worth doing. I loved this show and everyone in it. Top marks to all involved. Reuben Fliesher - superstore - zonmbieland - The Mule... what a resume! Hopefully more to come. And we finally get to find out who was behind the severed feet! RIP superstore. Maybe we could have a tie in of Glenns store.... PLEASE!!

Going out with a bang!

Most writers BS the series finale, having that sense of "what's the point if we're not getting renewed?" As a viewer and a fan, you get a sense when writers get that way. Can't say the same for the "Superstore" series finale. I love how it didn't really end with an ending, but rather opened up a new chapter for every character. It's like they gave the characters and fans the ending we all deserved.

"The greatest love story ever told"

Warning: Spoilers
I absolutely loved this episode, it was the best possible way to end such a great show! I was scared things would seem rushed (specially for Amy and Jonah), but everything was so natural and emotional. This show is such a gem, I'm really sad that it ended, but at least things got wrapped up the best way. This finale was for the fans. I'm gonna miss it.

Warning: Spoilers
The conclusion of Superstore was one of the best I've ever seen. Ranks up their with Breaking Bad. Now that we found out Elias is a serial killer leaving behind the all the severed feet throughout the years. In the final scene at the BBQ Elias was missing, makes me wonder if he got caught by the police or is still dismembering body parts.

I have always loved this show having worked retail as well. I no longer work retail, but the jokes they shared and the good times they had reminded of the great times I had. I love my new job, especially the hours and pay, but I miss the people I worked with. The emotional send off from Garrett made me missy old job , but made me realize all the things I have now and hopefully the good things to come.i am sad to see Superstore ending but glad I enjoyed the journey.

Finally a happy ending. It was a great ending to a funny show with great characters. It left you feeling full. I love how they all stayed together in some way. I'll miss looking forward to watching new episodes but I think it was the right time to end the show. I'll definitely be watching the whole series again.

Garrett's Closing Speech
From the very beginning of the series I was hooked. Superstore gave me 20-some minutes of escape from the often tumultuous times of our world. Each talented actor gave their everything into their characters and the storyline was just the icing on the cake. I felt like these people were real, like they were my coworkers too and I was invested in their progress.

I knew it would be hard to say goodbye to them but I didn't expect Garrett's speech to be so moving as he said goodbye to his customer, coworkers and to us.

I am glad that they chose to show the aftermath of the store closing so I know that, even though these are fictional characters, that they landed in a good place (well not THAT Good Place). I'll miss you all.
