Cracking show!

As a long time motorcycle rider and racing fan, I have watched Guy Martin race many times. He is just such a character. Down to earth, no airs and graces.

This show allows Guy, and Cammy, to just be themselves, like two kids in a candy store, getting to do what they enjoy most: find it, build/improve/adapt it, then do drive it round a track as fast as possible.

The cars selected have given us viewers a chance to watch some different classes of racing we probably haven't seen before.

It's great fun!

With so much rubbish on TV these days it is a pleasure to watch something that is actually entertaining.

Guy Martin is one of those real life characters that you maybe have to understand to fully appreciate his programs, but each episode of this series travels from concept to fruition in absorbing fashion.

His skills as an mechanic, or should that be engineer, plus his undoubted racing abilities are exploited to the full in each episode.

I stumbled across this one evening when trying to find something to watch, and I wish I had heard of this sooner. Absolutely superb. It's fun, playful, interesting and just great TV.

You get to see various race events around the world and learn about the cars and their history. Then you get to see them build, test and race cars in those events. It's just interesting from start to finish. The friendship and humour betweeny Guy and Cammy is refreshing. I'm not even a big motor racing fan but they have won me over.

In the words of Guy Martin himself, this show is "mint" and needs picked up for another five seasons ASAP!
