A Well-Balanced Episode
bigtallcubsfan3 December 2008
best twist ending ever, and one of the best episodes of the year. For the past couple of episodes, the show seemed to be trying too hard to be SERIOUS and DRAMATIC, veering away from the pranks and the dark humor that are also a part of the life of the show. This one had that awesome balance between an interesting case, the House v. Cuddy one- upmanship, and a terrific subplot involving Kutner, Talb, a medical website and blackmail. Good humor, good fun and, yes, good drama all around. I believe the show was able to accomplish this by its effective use of the supporting cast who for the first time in a while are all truly integrated into one or the other of the show's stories.

Best episode in of Season 5 so far...

Let me just say I love House M.D. but this seasons been lacking what was so great about the first 3 seasons. I think the writers have been so busy getting everything straightened out from the previous season that they've forgotten why the viewers tune in. For diagnostic magic! This episode had the qualities that the first season had, bouncing ideas off other team members and explaining their flaws. Now I know that's what they do in every episode but House really seemed to care this time while the other team members acted like they we're actually trying. Plus the obvious strain on him trying to balance the Cuddy situation and while still being a good doctor was a nice reminder of season two when he was getting back together with his ex Stacy. Of course I'm also very interested in House and Cuddy getting together and any sign of that becoming a possibility like in this episode is good news to me. I'm sick of waiting for what we all know is going to happen, or should happen. If the writers decide to hold back on it I'm going to be disappointed. However, I am aware that the longing and resisting makes for a better story then just letting them go at it. In conclusion, good episode, gives me hope for House.

Cuddy is definitely cuddable
ctomvelu-13 December 2008
House must deal with a fainting fitness instructor who harbors a Big Secret that could save her life. Meanwhile, Cuddy take over House's office while hers is being renovated. And the Indian doctor does a very bad thing: He creates a website in House's name, and collects fees from folks who e=mail him about their maladies. Not surprisingly, this backfires on him when one of the folks shows up at the hospital, gunning for House. The episode is mostly House and Cuddy sparring, and gets pretty intense and erotic near the end. Lots of fun, especially when Cuddy gets rid of House's furniture in retaliation for something he does to her office. Everyone ends up sitting or lieing on the floor. Cuddy especially looks fetching sitting or standing in House's empty office.
