Bread, bread for all of Wimbledon.

Wimbledon's body count continues to rise very quickly, Henry is convinced he's done it, and even asks Elinor how she'd feel if she knew that Henry was the poisoner, Detective Inspector Russell Rush is hot on Henry's case.

It's wild, it's perhaps even wilder than the first episode, it seemed obvious that Henry was the killer, you're made to question that certainty however.

More comic farce, more outrageous black humour, this is as far away from a straight laced drama as you could possibly get. I loved the black humour, and the ending is as crazy as the beginning.

Great comedy acting, Robert Lindsay continues to impress with his amazing timing, but I'd argue that he is matched by Philip Jackson, who is great here.

7/10.

Warning: Spoilers
If Alison Steadman's character Elinor had some similarities to the ghastly Beverly Moss from Abigail's Party.

Robert Lindsay's character Henry reminded me somewhat of Michael Murray from GBH. Both abhorrent and hapless at the same time.

There were only three dead from the drinks party that went wrong as Henry spiked the drinks. There was no post mortem taking place, Henry lives to maybe poison again.

However his relationship with his wife Elinor is a lot more cordial. The neighbourhood think that they are almost the perfect couple.

However Henry is not out of the woods yet. Neighbour DI Rush (Philip Jackson) has suspicions about Henry.

Then other people are poisoned and Henry is not responsible for these deaths. There is another Wimbledon Poisoner at large.

The second episode was a lot more farcical and maybe the humour was more broader. I think some of the deaths in this episode made me groan such as the poisoned apple.

I was surprised by the actual culprit and the revelations they made. It was also rather kinky here and there. The Wimbledon Poisoner was certainly offbeat.
