The Bubble!
g-bodyl6 December 2014
This is the fifteenth episode of the third season of 30 Rock and it's quite an amusing episode, especially as one realizes what the bubble means socially. The episode is once again funny and relies upon an excellent screenplay and great acting to tell its 20-minute story. Jon Hamm makes another appearance in the show and he does a good job.

In this episode, "The Bubble," Liz is concerned about her relationship when she figures out that her boyfriend is in the bubble thus making him vulnerable to the ways of life. Tracy's contract is up, so Jack decides to renegotiate which does not end well. Finally, Jenna decides to cut her hair for publicity purposes.

Overall, this is an enjoyable episode that has some good jokes. The subplot involving Liz and her boyfriend are my favorite. It's also nice to see Jack play some hardball with Tracy(and Kenneth), which results in some interesting scenarios. I rate this episode 9/10.

The Bubble was another pretty amusing episode of "30 Rock"

Warning: Spoilers
In this episode, we find out Liz' Dr. Drew lives in a bubble due to his handsome looks and is inept at everything as a result, Jack causes Tracy to quit the show when he inadvertently tells him how rich he is, and Jenna decides to have her hair cut on "Today" to get more attention than Tracy...Written by series creator Tina Fey, "The Bubble" is more subtly amusing than hilarious though as always, there are many clever lines and visual gags that make the whole thing go down easy in that most unique "30 Rock" way. Loved Jenna's reference to both "the Rachel" and "Felicity, season 2" in reference to her upcoming haircut and Jack's getting his black accountant to disguise his voice as Bill Cosby in a failed phone call negotiation with Tracy. Then there's Jon Hamm's ineptness at both tennis and motorcycle riding...

Guest starring Calvin Klein

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this episode for the first time today and the reference to Cosby was way ahead of its time that's for sure. Anyway, Marci Klein's father Calvin makes a guest appearance in this episode. Marci was a producer of 30 Rock.

It's easy to forget that 30 Rock and Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset debut both debuted on NBC at the same time. The conventional wisdom was that Sorkin's powerhouse TV series would be the one to survive after one season. Not to be, and the rest is history.

The Bubble (#3.15)
ComedyFan201029 November 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Liz's boyfriend is so good looking that he lives in a bubble: everyone always lets him win, gets him what he wants and tells him that he is right. This is why he actually sucks at everything. And Tracy leaves the show when the contract is over because he has more than enough money, but Jack manages to manipulate him back using Kenneth.

The story about Liz's boyfriend is pretty good. Creative and amusing. Watching him play tennis and think that he is good at it was hilarious. Funny thing is that he is not much better looking than Tina Fey or Alec Baldwin. But they made this non existent difference seem real.

And the Kenneth/Tracy relationship is absolutely cute. Hope to see more of their friendship.
