- The subject matter is often very disturbing. The frequent graphic violence as well as scenes of sexual assault and attempted rape are quite horrifying.
- Some of the chapters are more light-hearted than others, but when it gets dark, it can be very frightening.

- In the diner massacre the characters get their minds taken over and partake in a few sexual acts with noise and narration depicting them.
Violence & Gore
- The "diner massacre" at the end of the first part is extremely graphic. Probably the most gory and violent scene in the entire dramatization.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is a scene where a pedophile attempts to rape one of the protagonists, believing her to be a child.
