McHale and Binghamton team-up, well sort of
kfo949420 November 2014
This episode begins with the crew of the 73 having a small beach party with some of the local girls. Colonel Harrigan makes a surprise visit and he is really impressed with the nice way that McHale's crew has worked the beach. He thinks if only he could have this beach side area the next party will be his with a few of the nurses. Harrigan has a plan.

He goes to Binghamton and advises that the General is to make a visit to check on the moral of the officers. And word is out that if things are not going well then Binghamton will be shipped off to North Afraica. Binghamton is going to have to move McHale's crew into his building and project that the two are getting along splendidly.

McHale and his crew do not want to be in town nor does Binghamton really want the crew at his residence. And it just so happens that they find out, from different sources, that Harrigan is the rat in this situation and the General is not thinking about moving Binghamton. McHale and the Captain, independently, think of a plan to get back at Harrigan. But it becomes a mess when the two plans are staged at the same time.

This turned out to be a very interesting episode that was entertaining to watch. It was nice to see that McHale and Binghamton fighting for the same cause, even if the two had no idea what the other was doing. As we head to the mid range of the fourth and final season, the shows are not tapering off. The story is fresh and the acting above par. Another good show for viewers.
