Reunion!

Warning: Spoilers
"Liberavit" (liberated) is the best program of the series thus far. Of course, the liberation is that of Nick Durand, who has been held in captivity in Schönberg for most of the series.

Nick makes a daring escape from an escape hatch underneath the moving truck transporting him and other victims of the abhorrent Meridian organization dedicated to illegal traffic in human organs.

Em learns that the man she met as "Elliott" in the arboretum is "Jericho." It is Elliott who is pulling the strings to retrieve the files believed to be held by Nick. Em and Cal come up empty in their search of the Austrian facility where the captives have been removed.

After Nick's bold escape, he links with up with young Syrian refugees whose parents have been abducted by Meridian. The young boy Rafik leads Nick to a house where there is a phone. Nick places a call to his phone at Boston FBI headquarters. The call is fielded by SA Thompson, who is relieved to learn that Nick is live. But the call is witnessed by one of the other FBI personnel, who is recognized by Thompson. Shortly thereafter, Thompson will be discovered dead in her apartment by Crown. Who witnessed that phone call? Was it Gunnarsen? Or, possibly Foster Webb, the regional FBI supervisor who has taken over the investigation?

From the scarfaced medical practitioner, Em and Cal learn that Nick is on the move. As they are leaving the facility, Em notices that a guard that they knocked unconscious has the same tattoo as Cal. Finally, Em confronts Cal about selling her out in the mall, which led to the death of poor little Kai. Cal has also been in contact with Gunnarsen about their movements without informing Em. At gunpoint, Em orders Cal out of the truck. She will try to retrieve Nick on her own.

The quick-thinking Em spots the getaway vehicle with the Meridian thugs who have re-taken the "runaway," who is Nick. After shooting the tires of the vehicle, Em is finally reunited with Nick. In this fast-paced episode, this is the culminating moment or the Liberavit. Wow!

Started out well, but...

Too many 'Lady Bosses'. Gunnerson, Rowena, Emily, and then the BPD LT. Emily isn't Wonder Woman, but she is definitely pushing the bounds of human endurance.
