Really Great Start
AnimatedCritic23 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I thought the episode was really suspenseful and really good. All the patients had really interesting stories, especially the two twins who wanted their ovaries removed, and a little boy who was in a gang and got bitten by rattlesnake. The new characters were somewhat interesting, but with the old characters gone, Natalie, April, and Ethan, the show just doesn't feel the same without them.

Overall, it was a good start to season 7, and I can't wait to see what the season has in store.

On my count

Why is it every time someone gets transferred from a gurney to a bed you have to add a stupid sound effect? I have been in an e.r. Many times and the beds do not make any noise when you transfer. Stop it!!

Nice...

A very nice shake up to the line up. Hopefully some new interesting storylines can develop from here. And they managed to touch on the racial issues plaguing our society in a meaningful way that didn't feel like they were beating viewers over the head with the message. It didn't feel preachy at all. I also cannot wait to see this new doctor that was former police. I really like the energy he seemed to bring and the new female doctor that I can tell is so much more than what's surface. I really think this show may have taken a step in the right direction. Still hate the new chief of surgery though. I know I'm not supposed to because he's the villain but I don't even like him for the villain role. No shade to the actual actor though.

Season 7 sucks so far
born_trueblue11 March 2022
So far season 7 is not great. Dr. Dylan Scott is the worst and most annoying character ever, he acts so dumb. And Dr. Stevie Hammer equally sucks with her crazy mom, that storyline is terrible. The showrunners seem to be approaching this season by being super lazy. Too many people left from season 6. Something needs to change quick....show is barely watchable.

Odd episode
scntyguy23 September 2021
I was glad to see Dr Natalie Manning finally leave the show! She was always do overbearing, pushy, and everything had to be her way or no way! I was equally happy to see April leave the show! She was always breaking and stretching the rules to suit her needs, and there really wasn't anyone left for her to sleep with on the show!

The two new Drs they added are not very screen friendly, which leads one to wonder why they were chosen!

Season six they let one of the best actors and characters, Dr Connor Rhodes, leave the show!

👎👎👎👎👎

Not what it was....

Excuse the phrase, but I love Dick.

However, I've watched Med since day one, so I've seen it at its very best. And now I fear for its pace, directorship and dare I say, acting.

Could it be a Covid reaction?

Story was good, just seemed to lack something. And when you compare it to other modern medical dramas such as The Resident or Good Doctor, it has been left behind.

Honestly speaking, if this was the first episode I had seen, I wouldn't be back. But, I know what Dick can do, so.... I will give it time.

This season starts the degradation of the series
TournelHenry26 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Hollywood shows are really loosing quality while still sneakily seeping in the moral degenracy into everything. For Chicago Med, this first season starts it all.

At lease, they dialed down the repetitious Covid-19 plot.

Losing interest
fawn_z30 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I used to live to watch this show but with April leaving and Natalie leaving it feels like now that the storylines are getting weak and their trying to over dramatize the acting to make up for not having strong story content. If it continues like this I fear my days of watching the show will be short lived.
