Casey once again induces belly laughs... and chick fight in the shower
jjwold21 October 2008
Warning: Spoilers
This episode, which may have been a bit over-hyped because of the Nicole Richie cameo, still managed to live up to what we've come to expect from the second season of Chuck.

We get a glimpse into the past of Agent Walker (prior to her early years in the CIA, of course) for the first time. I must admit it did take me a second to realize the opening sequence of the movie was actually about Sarah. Bangup job on the makeup to turn a swan back into a marginally ugly duckling.

The scene where Chuck barges in to Sarah's (or is it Jenny?) conversation with one of the mean girls from her high school is pure comic gold. Once again, Yvonne Strahovski shows many colors in scenes like this. From pure warm pleasantry to seething through teeth command presence, this actress continues to portray one of many complex characters on the show.

Most of us considered high school to be a more or less horrible experience, and this episode captured some of that horror. We all were or knew a Mark Rattner (Fast Times reference?) in high school, and it's nice to know that "Sometimes the nerd gets the girl."

Once again, Adam Baldwin delivers a great performance as Casey. His seething, wry sense of humor induces belly laugh after belly laugh. "Love is for suckers." Gold.

Yvonne Strahovski and Nicole Richie going kung fu on each other in a shower? Enough said.
