One of a kind!
Vel_Cur1 January 2023
I was extremely lucky to see this documentary in Melbourne at the world premiere of Art Lovers Unite! This was one of the most interesting, and engaging documentaries I have ever seen. If you are a fan of fashion, art or both this is a must see. Each scene is engaging and riveting yet manages to have an extremely relaxed feeling while taking you through a journey with Vivienne Westwood and Dacob as they explore the Gemaeldegalerie in Berlin, Germany. This is one of the last documentaries that captured Vivienne in such a relaxed way. Dacob and Patrick have made HISTORY with this documentary. I can't wait to have the opportunity to watch this documentary again.

Don't be fooled by the simplicity

This documentary is not for those that love processing logic more than emotions. You must be a child to appreciate the passion that Vivienne has, a teenager to appreciate her desire for independence and an adult to put the wisdom gained into practice. Vivienne May she rest in peace, embodied perfectly the balance between being passionate, unique & accountable. Dacob's silence may deceive you into thinking he didn't do anything but he is the Queen in this chess masterpiece, without his ability to hold space for Vivienne; everything would be lost. I was dying to see it and I gained life watching it.

Art, Life and Death.
gurlbye1 May 2023
Vivienne Westwood captured in a manner you've never seen before; in her natural habitat, unguarded and open. Dacob's comforting and tactfully tender presence grants an access to the world of a greater than life icon, in a way the public hasn't previously had access to. Filmed in Vivienne Westwood's favorite art museum - the "Gemäldegalerie" in Berlin. Stealthy and masterful camera work that makes one question its presence in the room. Slithering music that behaves like a character in the documentary. A work so simple, yet layered and very meaningful. A documentary about art, life, and ultimately, death.

An Absolute Must Watch!

It is very rare that Vivienne is given the moment to open up and fully express herself and Dacob really did an amazing job of capturing this side of Vivienne by having a natural flow of conversation, allowing Vivienne to express herself and truly having an appreciation for art and Vivienne's vision. All that and much more, which was backed by the pairs education and passion. This was such a treat to watch and I was engaged the whole way through. The cinematography is beautiful and comforting which added warmth to Vivienne and Dacob's words. Absolutely recommend this documentary, you wont be disappointed.
