Two seconds left

Julio Caesar Chavez had one of the most impressive records in boxing history with an undefeated streak that was longer then Rocky Marciano's. This documentary tells of his fight with Philadelphia warrior Meldrick Taylor (Joe Frazier was from Philly and a fighter from there is expected to be a warrior in the traditional sense returning carrying his shield or upon it). Just a few months after the Tyson Douglas upset this fight was just as exciting. I was amazed at how Taylor dominated Chavez in the early rounds. His hand speed reminded me of Ali's. Then in the last round with twenty five seconds to go Chavez knocked him down and when Taylor struggled to his feet Referee Richard Steele stopped the fight with two seconds to go. Taylor was robbed of his victory and had such a tragic life afterwards it is so sad. They show an interview with him where he shows signs of brain damage. Boxing is a cruel sport.
