Loved this episode it brought raw memories back

Warning: Spoilers
I really loved this episode especially about the cancer patient. The only thing that I find hard to believe (I know this isn't reality) is that a hospital would throw a prom get all the decorations, the dress and be allowed to do it where it was held. I know some hospitals do things like this BUT they are hospitals that are specialist cancer hospitals and have funding for things like this especially for children (Well, they do in the UK). Also the fact that they went against the parents wishes for the girl to see her boyfriend would be open to a lawsuit especially as the girl died the next day. She could say it was the fault of the hospital and throwing the prom which tired the girl out and wasn't fit enough for the op and that is why after the op she had the fit and died. The fact also the lad wore a face mask but no-one else did didn't make sense. Surely the fact he was made to wear a face mask because of infection should mean that everyone should be wearing a face mask and gloves also because of skin contact? Saying all that it was a lovely episode that made me well up especially the ending.

Relatable
tarnishedhalotx21 January 2020
Found so much of this episode relatable to my own life, particularly what Claire & Audrey are going through, Carly's reasons to stay away from patients. The relationship developing between Claire & Neil is so beautiful, I hope the writers don't ruin it by having them hook up & Shaun's growth, his comforting others, warming and hopeful.

S3.E12 - Beautiful Episode [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S3. E12) My Live Reaction / Review for The Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 12 ''Mutations''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. This girl thought that the tumor was gone but now it is back? That sucks. Once again there is drama between Shaun and Carly, at this point is feels neverending. Dr. Morgan is sick and that sucks. Dr. Glassman wants to help her but it seems like she doesn't want the help. The whole prom-dance thing was pretty cringe, makes the hospital looks like a circus. Carly got very upset because of the man who is dying, its better to stay at the lab like she said. The girl died? What? That's so sad! Claire is still mad at her dead mother? Get over it already, the woman is dead. Dr. Morgan now accepts help from Dr. Glassman, that's good. Did Carly and Shaun have sex? Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.

I so sure the hospital would go through all that trouble...so silly I must say.

Good?

I can't understand what is good about this Dr. I worked for 40 years in two major hospitals and most of this garbage wouldn't be put up with!

Meddlers
dierregi5 September 2021
The surgeons in this fictional hospital cannot refrain from meddling with the lives of each other and their patients, with mixed results. At least, it is occasionally acknowledged that meddling doesn't always produce happy endings, but still...

Claire is the uber-meddler, telling everybody and their dogs what they should do. Everybody meddles with Shaun's love and sex life and now Dr. Melendez starts meddling with Claire and we all know how that is going to end. The hospital prom was a tearjerker also leading to the inevitable ending.
