All Wet with George Hebden Corsan
boblipton31 July 2016
George Corsan and a few associates demonstrate some swimming, some diving and some playing around in the water in this Edison instructional movie.

Mr Corsan is remembered primarily by the nut growers of Ontario, according to a Google search. He lived to be 95 and, like other people who achieve a great age, attributed it to something more than not dying; in his case. It was his vegetarian diet. What finally got him was being struck down by an automobile, so I guess his regime did not forbid that happening. He had survived his neck being broken in another car accident a year earlier.

In any case, Mr. Corsan had already achieved some fame, as shown by this film, made when he was a mere 55 or so. The copy I saw on the Eye Institute site on YouTube had been colored a bright tomato color, giving the impression this was performed in a lake filled with ketchup. The antics on display may interest those who are not familiar with swimming. I found them boring.
