Asking for a little longer Short Trek...

I'm all about these Short Treks, but 7 minutes of story time? .... come on, I'm paying for this damn subscription ... waiting for January (season 3 of Discovery and Star Trek Picard) and this is all I get?

The story here is really simple which is to be expected in these shorts, but this one is REALLY simple.

It's a "woke" short. One which I really don't think the cadet was acted very well (Amrit Kaur). Hell, I would have just stunned Pike to shut him up.

But Anson Mount just makes this thing palatable. His performance as Pike never disappoints, not even when the script is sub-par.

Nothing gained or lost here. It's just a little blip (really little) in the Star Trek universe.

I'm not unhappy I watched it. I did think 1701's warp core looked pretty cool.

Pike, #1, Spock... new series... make it so!!

Make this instead of Disco

After the departure of Jason Isaacs from Discovery they struck gold with Anson Mount as Pike. I couldn't really care less about the characters left in the main Discovery show, personally I would prefer to see more Pike/Spock/No.1 on the Enterprise and ditch the main Discovery.

Finally,Star Trek is here !!!

The show looks great without that stupid Discovery soundtrack,the new one totally rocks and now i really want to see another Enterprise show,because without that BAD Discovery legacy everything looks great again.It will be great if you will replace that yellow logo page with something blue or purple maybe, and that lame Discovery old fonts,too ,because they are ridiculous.Please keep Anson Mount in the franchise ,because he is a great actor and nobody wants to see him leaving.

True, Star Trek Short Treks is a better show than Discovery but this episode was all too obvious. Spoiler alert: just when you think the additional twist in the plot will come it does not. The episode ends and that's it. Okay, it is a 'Short' Trek but this story this time was too simple.
