About the Acne "jokes"
aarongnr27 February 2020
This is stupid and its like the showrunners are encouraging mobbing. Acne is nothing to make fun of. And for any mature person, Acne is not funny. This sets a bad example for kids all over the world, and it's very distasteful.

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Sydney, she hides the wall that she has broken. Sydney has to do groceries for her mother. Stanley gives Sydney a ride to school. Sydney got another temper tantrum in the grocery store, all the groceries fell down on the ground. Sydned and Stanley are watching a rugby match together. Sydney and Stanley are smoking weed together at Stanley his house. Stanley kissed Sydney, she kissed him back. Nice Episode of I Am Not Okay with This, just a great and weird Series at the same time. Stanley and Sydney really get closer to each other, and finally kissed in the last minute!

Dear diary, Why so short?

Honestly, although this episode was only 20 minutes long, I could've watched it for another 1 hour. Pretty good episode with a seamless flow, good acting by the actors and some deep dialogues. Bu the end I was like why did this end so soon, I needed more of this. Loved the interaction between Stan and Syd. The dialogue uttered by Sydney's mom in a scene was pretty savage and made me laugh out loud.

I love this series. It's grown on me so much after two episodes and the comedic timing in this episode was almost perfect. It captures the awkwardness of being a teenager perfectly. Love it

Not what you expect for the genre

As an insecure boy growing up, I can relate to the female protagonist. Absolutely nailed it down, great series, on episode 3 or so, I love everything about this show, great pace, writing, casting, production, not available on bluray unfortunately, hopefully in the future. I keep going back to being an insecure teen, plus I really hate this type of Netflix show usually. I'm just into Supernatural, Walking Dead, Lost In Space, with Black Mirror type of shows, but this nails it down so well to be not fitting in and all.

Can't Quote The Title
nebohr27 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This show is going nowhere fast. There is barely enough material for five minutes, let alone twenty. Syd is a failure and an immature, unlikeable character always blaming others for her own unhappiness and mistakes.

Mom asks Syd to go to the grocery store and she ends up bumming a ride with Stan

In the grocery store: she has only fifty dollars to spend yet doesn't keep a tally of what she's put in the shopping basket and is surprised when she doesn't have enough money to pay. She has a hissy fit and tells the cashier that she will put all the groceries back; instead of picking out what's most important that the fifty dollars will cover. Then she "hate rages" and destroys the grocery. No one says anything and the cops aren't called because, hey, this happens all the time, right?!

Stan catches up with her outside where she is once again feeling sorry for herself; and of course has zero groceries for her family.

She and Stan smoke some pot and engage in some stoner dialog. And compare acre. And swap spit. The end.
