Kevin and Sophie should have been Jack and Rebecca Part 2.

You know what's beautiful about childhood romances? You never ever forget them. This episode was brilliantly written and greatly acted. The plot was woven so beautifully, with the past and present being mirrored so tragically. It pains my heart to see that Kevin and Sophie couldnt get their timing right, because they really were meant for each other. The longingness in Kevin's eyes shows that so greatly.

I am just in awe with their pairing and even though it seems quite unlikely for them to get back together, in my separate world, i would always pair them when the show ends.

Loved this episode. Between the flashbacks and the memories mixed with the current, it went too fast! Oh how I wanted Kevin and Sophie to reunite. Learning more about their lovestory was something I've craved. The compatibility and love they show each other along with their "story ending" they would tell each other was just so touching. And I adore the way the "big 3" are there for each other, (wish I weren't an only child) .I loved this episode very much, but I've loved every episode. I cry every time...well, just about every episode. !

It Ain't Gonna Happen

This is a touching episode, to say the least. We now move on to Kevin, who is actively searching for fulfillment. He can have any woman he wants in the short term. He is making another movie and gets a message from Sophie that her mother has died. Apparently, she had a debilitating illness. She was alway upbeat and treated Kevin with adoration, even though the family had a fairly meagre existence. Kevin heads for the funeral but has ulterior motives, hoping for one more chance at Sophie. He has already blown it twice, once in a marriage and once in a serious relationship, ended with alcoholism. Sophie has an adoring husband and while the love is still there, life doesn't work that way. We can't just dump someone in the ditch and take off. She knows this as does he. Wouldn't you know it, he goes to see Kate and Toby and Madison is there, babysitting. Well, his hormones again take over. I loved the scene where he visits Sophie's mother's grave and starts to leave a picture of himself. I thought, "Thank goodness!" when he snatches it up and takes it away. There was so much humanity at work. We see the bonfire Kevin was at as his dad was dying from complications of the fire. I assume the next episode will feature Kate, but we'll see.
