Let me start by saying that i been enjoying this series with youtube premium and upto this episode i was a big fan of the series and the main character. And that's why it's hard for me to understand why this kind of series pomotos this kind lesson and behaviour as it should be ok!Let me get to the point: so spoilers ahead!!
In the scene where Zach comes to speak with Jenna at the dance about why she did broke up with him and what did he do wrong. This TV series sends a clear massage that is ok to just dump a guy and not even let him know what he did wrong specially the quotes from the main character Henrietta saying to Zack "your making it lot worse than it has to be" when Zack pores out his heart and says Jena i love you and i want to get back together with you just tell me what to do! Henrietta rolls her eyes and says dude stop.So basicly when a guy who has been nothing but nice get shutdown and heartbroken by Jenna its ok for the main character to just roll her eyes and act like its not a big deal.Well guess what then the same should be said to her when she starts acting as a victim with the incident she had in the car."Clay should just roll his eyes and say to Henrietta "dude just stop complaining about it" I was following the story of Henrietta with big heart and joy after this stupid episode just broke every respect i had for that character. Ok not every but still its strange how this episode made this situation like its nothing.Let me tell you something it is sexist to think that its ok for women to brake a mans heart who has been only but kind and loving. One would say the emotional burden might be at the same level as the victrom on assault but i did not see any hotline numbers for the broken heart group at the end of the series! Would be great to have a explanation from the writer of this episode!
