17 December 2009 11:43 PM, PST | PopStar | See recent PopStar news »

The past ten years have been great -- we have embraced on a new journey through the millennium and thanks to pop culture we had many great friends along for the ride. People Magazine worked with Sims to create an image that would incorporate all things popular in the past ten years and the picture is worth a thousand words. Find out who made the cut, which movies were featured, and which love birds were caught snuggling. People asked the folks at Sims to try and encompass the past ten years into a picture and what they came up with is incredible. They wanted to create a picture that would target the 9-14 demographic, but sadly these films and people are not only swooned over by tweens. Sims made sure to add the hottest films including Harry Potter, High School Musical, and Twilight. They also added key musicians Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift, »

Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince DVD Review

10 December 2009 11:57 PM, PST | ScreenStar | See recent ScreenStar news »

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), the latest international blockbuster based on J.K. Rowling's novels about the adventure of a boy wizard and his pals, has apparated on DVD. Harry, Ron, and Hermione have had to grow up fast throughout the Potter saga, but nowhere more than in this story -- the darkest, most violent and disturbing yet. Lord Voldemort is on the loose, his threat now obvious to everyone, Muggles included, and Harry stands in the way of He Who Must Not Be Named coming to power once and for all. In fact, a showdown with Voldemort is inevitable, and Dumbledore, aware that his days are numbered, must race the clock to prepare Harry for the occasion. The film is solid, but be warned that more than any of its predecessors, it's a bridge film. It holds up on its own merits, but everything about it (much like the book, »

Decisions Are Still To Be Made About The 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' Episode, Says Tom Felton

9 December 2009 3:30 PM, PST | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

From MTV.Com: Perhaps the two biggest questions surrounding "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the two-part finale of J.K. Rowling's book series, are how filmmakers will handle the author's flash-forward postscript and what in the world Potter-philes will do when there are no more novels or films to look forward to.

The answer to that second question remains to be seen. But what will director David Yates do about the ending? Following the epic Harry vs. Voldemort smackdown, Rowling jumped ahead almost two decades to catch up with her characters in the future. For the big-screen adaptation, does that mean older actors will portray Harry and the rest of the grown-up students? Or that the young stars will be aged through makeup effects or CGI technology?
