Two things shouted out to me through the episode (Maybe that's my "limit of absorption" on any episode!) The first was the Jodi Lerner story arc: but then I go for anything involving Marlee Matlin. That was a really strong story line throughout the episode. The second was the (sort of) reconciliation between Max and his father. In the end, Max's father accepts Max as a member of his family and shares his classic car with him, although he can't ultimately bring himself to acknowledge Max as his son. Two heartbreaking aspects with possible positive outcomes.

Warning: Spoilers
My favorite part of the episode is when all the girls are at the table and Kate and Tina start discussing a movie. Definitely got the attention of Bette. Then with Bette looking on, Kate said she searched the internet on Tina and what attracted to her the most was, "her in a turquoise dress at some premier." (S01 E14, Limb From Limb) Bette immediately turns to Jodi for a toast. I also can't take away the emotional scene between Bette and Jodi. All Bette wanted was for someone to work with her! Beals is so underrated.
