Auntie Wainwright has finally got an estate car for Tom and Smiler who are sick and tired of pushing a handcart.

It turns out to be a hearse and not a fast one at that.

At least it becomes handy when the local pub wants a drunk returned home.

Meanwhile Howard takes an interest in military history. That is one way to sneak out of the house.

Glenda is concerned that Barry will not think for himself. Leaving all the decisions to Glenda.

The rest of the ladies like it that way.

Roy Clarke manage to stretch out the hearse jokes. It was only a matter of time before someone ended up at the back of it.

This was Billy's last appearance. Although the character was fun enough, his Robin Hood obsession limited him.

Glenda has had enough of Barry's passive personality, he's afraid to make a decision for himself, and constantly agrees with her. Meanwhile, Auntie has once again given in, opened the purse, and bought a vehicle.

The most notable thing about this episode, is that it's the final episode for Billy, and that's a bit of a shame, I thought he was quite funny, not his fault, but sometimes there are too many characters for anyone to stand out.

It's pretty good, I'm not sure if I remembered bits about this one, but the hearse seemed inevitable, as did some of the jokes. It is a fabulous car however.

Howard and Marina do look amusing in their camouflage gear.

Not a classic, but amusing, 6/10.
