After the highs of the previous episode with our trio somersaulting on a bike made for three, this one feels a bit mundane.
Compo at least scrubs himself well and dresses up in a loud blazer, just the kind of clothing we saw a few years earlier when the boys took a trip down to Scarborough.
Of course he wants to go to Nora Batty's bedroom and have a photograph taken. One of the last places unexplored by man if you discount Wally Batty. Hold on they did go to Nora's bedroom at the beginning of series 6 when Nora was trapped under the bed.
Still the episode improves a bit once Compo hides inside a wardrobe that Wally bought at an auction and needs help help taking it to the bedroom. We get some wicked remarks from Foggy. In fact at one point they leave him trapped inside the wardrobe on the street while Foggy and Clegg go to the pub for a drink.
