There Are Gypsies at the Bottom of Our Garden

Kate Robbins plays the gypsy woman selling lucky charms, everyone runs away the moment they clap eyes on her apart from Auntie Wainwright who sees a selling opportunity.

Meanwhile Compo thinks he has lost his animal magnetism with women as Nora Batty seems to be ignoring him.

Foggy eyes a business opportunity when he thinks he has heard giant woodpeckers in the woods, he starts a nature tour business by borrowing a rickety coach from Wesley. It is a shame that Foggy does not realise that it is just Howard and Marina building a wooden hut.

There is a nice shot of the end of the street where Nora and Compo live. I never gathered that it was a garage there.

The episode benefits from Compo's physical comedy and there are some nice humorous lines.
