These reviews are for Garfield only, as always.

We get ourselves a Garfield quickie to kick things off. It's not much to write home about. Jon entrusts Odie with his mail invitations, and Odie loses them during a nasty gust of wind. The wrong people end up being invited; stupid, silly, and unfunny.

Binky Show

Garfield wakes up in a panic to realize its Jon's birthday. Being that Garfield has nothing to give Jon, he decides to go on the Binky show to try and win something for his owner. He plays a game called "Name That Fish" Garfield gets toyed around with, and gets increasingly demoralized by the demeaning gifts you can win. Tired of Binky's games, Garfield heads home. Binky shows up at Jon's house, unexpectedly to wish Jon a happy birthday. Garfield kicks Binky out, and Jon realizes that may be the best present Garfield could possibly give him. I thought this was above average, if unmemorable. It doesn't have the pizazz that this series usually gives you, but it does offer quite a few chuckles. It's one of the rare times where you see Garfield commit a selfless act. It was rather sweet to see. I can't stand Binky. I know that's the point, but he brings the show down whenever he's on. The ending is quite satisfying.

We get another quickie. Garfield & Jon are strolling innocently down a street, when Garfield inexplicably runs after a hot dug truck, thinking it's a real hot dog. Jon calls Garfield an idiot for it, but Garfield figures he may as well go for dessert, and does the same thing with an ice cream truck. This was pretty amusing, I must admit.

Don't Move

Garfield tells Odie he can't come along with him. Odie is devastated and lays on a guilt trip, so Garfield decides to let him tag along on one condition. Odie is prohibited from moving from the circle with an X, Garfield draws on the sidewalk. While Garfield goes to swindle the pet store owners to retrieve some fish, Odie inadvertently goes through a string of misadventures. He almost gets eaten by a pelican, saves a suicide jumper, and tussles with a dog over a bone in a garbage truck. This was extremely silly, but undeniably adorable. Odie is one of the cutest dogs you'll ever see, and I got a kick out of everything he went through. I also liked some of the goofy jokes, especially the play on street signs. It's not very realistic, but it made me feel like a kid again.
