Here's another episode which works just fine for what it is: Entertaining superhero cartoon stuff, but in the end, there's something missing about this episode. That makes it a really good one like the Doc Ock episode or the one with the Black Cat.
What's certainly most bugging is that they use Mysterio, a classic Spider-Man villain who normally uses special effects to make his enemies believe that he has superpowers or magic abilities, as some sort of, well, Pied Piper like they say in the title card. Mysterio uses a hypnotizing disco tune to mind-control New York's citizens.
Somewhere around the third act of the episode, Mysterio's hypnotizing line which is repeated over and over again in this episodes really starts to get on you nerves.
