In this episode one of Doom's most interesting aspects is shown: Doom is the monarch of Latveria, a fictional country south of Hungary. There's is a subplot about Latverian citizens who try everything in their might to overthrow the tyrant.
In the main plot, Doom travels to the United Nations in New York City as a diplomat for his country but this is just part of his crazy scheme to replace the UN representatives with robots.
