What class is this?!
JSirro27 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The gang is in class that pairs them up for marriage. Zach and Kelly, Slater and Jessie, Screech and Lisa. The entire episode is Slater and Zach trying to get with Kelly at all cost. After Screech freaks out Lisa on numerous occasions, they split up and become the kids in this wild classroom experience. Slater is the one behind the scheme this time. He plans to have Screech cause trouble between his "parents", Zach and Kelly that way Slater can be with Kelly. Needless to say this plan never works because like clockwork Screech gives up the plan at the first sight of trouble.

I am not sure what school does this experiment none the less with no one else in the class but them. Also why is The Max holding the final for this experiment. The only thing just seems odd. Also the moment of screech saying he'll send for his ant farm was a classic. And him popping out of the cake was also interesting at the least!! All in all not a great episode or a memorable one at all.

The Gang attempts marriage
callanvass2 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
For a class project, the gang is forced to partake in a mock marriage. Kelly marries Zack, Jesse marries Slater, and Screech marries Lisa. Jesse and Slater have problems when Slater's sexist attitude rubs Jesse the wrong way. Lisa is hating being married to Screech, because he won't stay out of her sight. Meanwhile, Slater bribes Screech by offering to get Lisa for him if he breaks up Kelly and Zack. I have a soft spot for this episode. It's a really funny episode that I consider to be one of the classics for season one. It's a good message about how parenting isn't as easy as it seems. I do have a couple of issues with it. Slater's chauvinistic attitude was very hard to endure. I felt like slapping him silly, and I'm a guy! You treat your woman with respect, plain and simple. I loved Jesse's attitude in this one. If Jesse Spano was a real life person, I'd gladly be with someone like her. It was said that Jesse and Slater were not compatible in this episode. Oddly enough, they'd wind up together. Screech is equally annoying as Slater here. The dream scene where Lisa sees him everywhere gave me the willies. Lisa's twitching also deserves a mention. Whenever Screech was around, she'd twitch. I thought it was hilarious. Of course, every SBTB fan knows Zack and Kelly get married eventually for real

Well...

It really bothers me how badly Lisa treats Screech. I know sometimes he's annoying, but he doesn't deserve to be treated so stupidly. Lisa is just the type of girl I used to hate when I was in school, because she's mean and only cares about looks.

Spousal abuse is no joking matter
silverbluejc9 March 2022
Appalling to see spousal abuse being joked about in a kids show. Not to mention the sexism and bigotry. Cancel this show! Kids should not be watching this.
