Warning do not read unless seen episode.
This is another good one if not quite the best in my book, it's once again another film by Bert I. Gordon and of course you'd know what to expect. Only problem I have with the episode is that there aren't any memorable skits segments at least not in my book, though there are some funny moments to be had like seeing TV's Frank turned into a skeleton, not surprisingly no thanks to one of Dr. Foresters dangerous inventions. Or even seeing the Robots in medieval wear which was cute, not supporting Crow's crest would be his own face.
Though this episode does have some fun and memorable riffs, like in one scene where the hero is in deep crap as he's in this boiling blood lake and the sword of course does its thing much like Lion O's Sword of Omens from "Thundercats" but not as good, anyway one of them make a funny riff about it which just cracked me up because I highly agree. And there is of course plenty of other riffs from each of the challenges they go through, like one moment with this ugly witch in disguise or in that cave where the crew yell out in chorus. Or even the final fight with the dragon which was a little too easy much like how the main protagonist got past most of the other challenges, which could almost make him a bit of a Mary Sue much like Rey from "Star Wars" yeah, we all like her (sarcasm).
The comedy makes this less than magical adventures magical.
Rating: 3 stars.
